I don't care for either one but in all fairness Ronnie is the better overall bodybuilder. Phil may lack the width but that might not stopping him from upping the dose to see where it takes him. Looking at Coleman now I would caution against doing so. The body can only take so much for so long and then it's a long, steep downhill thereafter.
Coleman easily wins this comaprison and again, this coming from someone as objective as possible.

This is the dumbest post ever.Ronnie Coleman is 47 years old, Phil Heath is only 32.You cannot compare a man who is 47 and retired to a man who is 32 and in his bodybuilding prime.
At the age of 30-37 most bodybuilders peak and are in there prime.
At 47 they are pretty much just enjoying life and retired.Ronnie is 15 years older then Phil Heath, heck 3-5 more years and he would be old enough to be his father, lol .
For a man who is 47 years of age, which is pretty close to 50, he doesnt look that bad.
I bet you dont look this good at 47, not many people do

Well thanks. He was an actual teacher of mine as well as a friend. Taught me composition and creative writing but I am no where near his level of ability nor intelligence. He could have joined Mensa but refused because he didn't want to hang out with people like himself. ;D
On top of that, I am totally caucasian, taller and (according to him) no where near as good looking. But I do appreciate the compliment. If it were not unbecoming of a Christian (and I am trying to remain a genuine practicing faithful one here and in the real world), I would use his favorite saying. I do miss him. As do others that knew and worked with him for many years. ;D Especially so this coming Halloween.

If they are going to be compared on arms it should be at around the same weight. no use comparing Phil at 240 and Ronnie at 290

LISTEN BITCHES!!!! Phil is good, could probably get 5-6 Olympia wins before its all said and done but he is no Ronnie. Ive seen Ronnie guest pose at the 1999 Mr. Ohio at a LEAN 310lbs and again at the 2001 Arnold. Never seen anything like him before or since. Ive seen Haney in person, Dillett (the closes freak next to Ronnie), Flex Wheeler and Dorian. I was at the USA when Heath turned pro and you could see he was going to be special. But Ronnie was a different breed of freak! Ronnie is a once in the lifetime freak of freaks. Both Ronnie and Yates had stiffer competition than Heath does. The guys now dont compare to Levrone, Ray, Wheeler, Nasser, Dillett, etc. Kai is good and will probably challenge Heath for a few years. The only other guy that can push Heath will be Kucklo, but as long as he stays healthy and not for a good 3-4 years.

Agreed, Ronnie is a freak and there aren't many like him. I met him at the AC in 2007 and he was off season and he was a freak. With the height and the mass, plus the freak factor he stands out amongst all the rest.

Kai is the closest thing to Ronnie. Kai just happened to hit his stride when Heath did. Phil has been groomed to win the O. As much as i like Kai and im a huge fan, his past will prevent him from winning the O. He CAN beat Kai and i think this year, you will see a different Kai since he didnt balloon up like he used to do
