I thought he played an excellent Tommy lee Jones in MIB 3. Everything else about that movie sucked though. He's a pretty good actor.

After testing actors over the past couple of weeks, Warner Bros. and DC have tapped theater actor Ray Fisher for the role of Cyborg in the untitled Batman-Superman pic.
Victor Stone or Cyborg, while not a major part in the Batman-Superman feature, is a member of the Justice League, and the role will become much more significant role as Warner and DC develop more films related to the Justice League universe, sources confirm.
Warner Bros. had no comment on this story.
Fisher joins the Batman-Superman cast that includes Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Jesse Eisenberg, Gal Gadot and Amy Adams.
Zack Snyder is directing from a script by David S. Goyer, based on a story by Goyer and Snyder. Production is currently under way in Michigan.
In the bonus feature on the recent “Man of Steel” homevideo release, Cavill, who plays Superman in the film, said there’s a great deal of promise in Cyborg as well as the fictional research facility S.T.A.R. Labs, which appears in several DC Comics.
“I think he would create an incredible bridge between superheroes and humanity,” Cavill said of the Cyborg character.
S.T.A.R. Labs was also the workplace of Justice League characters Professor Hamilton (played by Richard Schiff in “Man of Steel”) and the superhero Rampage, although it’s unclear whether the latter is involved in the Batman-Superman film.

Warner Bros. says it is going to try again to create a big-screen version of Justice League, the long-demanded, occasionally attempted team-up between Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern and other iconic DC superheroes.

So remember a few weeks ago when Jason Momoa made headlines because he said he was tired of being asked if he was going to play Aquaman in "Batman Vs Superman: Dawn Of Justice"?
Well, he's totally playing Aquaman in "Batman Vs Superman: Dawn Of Justice."
While Warner Bros. hasn't made that announcement officially yet, HitFix can confirm that he will be playing the part, and that Zack Snyder has already finalized his designs for the character so shooting can take place soon.
One of the things that has driven me crazy since the release of "Man Of Steel" is when people say that the last act of the film is a problem since there's no consequences for Superman after all of the destruction that results from his battle with Zod. I felt like it was pretty clear walking out of the theater that the next film would have to be all about consequences. I suspected that Lex Luthor would use the destruction as a way of making Superman look like a monster, and it sounds like that is indeed one of the major ideas that they're playing with in "Dawn Of Justice."
Someone else who's not particularly happy about what happened in that film is Aquaman. I'm not sure if that's the actual name they'll use or not, but what we're hearing is that he is not pleased about the World Engine and what it did to the Indian Ocean. He will not have a major role in the film, but he will make an appearance, and it definitely sets him up to return once Snyder gets to "Justice League."
So don't keep asking Momoa about the rumor. It's driving him crazy, and he's got to be sworn to secrecy. But rest assured that when "Dawn Of Justice" arrives in theaters in 2016, we're going to see the king of Atlantis onscreen, and Vinnie Chase will have nothing to do with it at all.

Amy Adams Gives First Class Seat to Serviceman
Amy Adams is a class act.
The five-time Academy Award nominee gave her first class seat to an American serviceman who was also on her Delta flight. Adams, 39, took his seat in coach during their flight from Detroit to Los Angeles.
Jemele Hill, co-host of ESPN's Numbers Never Lie, broke the news via Twitter Friday morning. "I'm an even bigger fan now," she tweeted. Hill was unaware that Adams was born on a military base during her father's days in the service. The family moved several times before settling in Colorado when she was 8.
Hill recounted the experience via e-mail. "When we were waiting to board, I saw her glance the soldier's way and then she said something to the person she was traveling with," Hill wrote to NBC's Today in a message from the flight. "Once we boarded, I saw she was in first class. I was upgraded to first class and she was a couple rows behind me. I think she must have said something to the flight attendant, because before we took off she had vacated her seat and the flight attendant brought the soldier to her seat."
A flight attendant told Hill that the serviceman chatted privately with Adams near the front of the plane.
"I just thought it was incredibly classy and thoughtful," Hill said of the actress' selfless gesture.
Adams has spent the past month and a half shooting Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice in Michigan. The blockbuster, co-starring Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill, is scheduled to hit theaters on May 6, 2016.

Bats can either use kryptonite (how original) or like the graphic novel develop a suit that gives him super strength. Either way the new superman was stupid and they needed a couple more films to establish the characters in this version and arsefleck needed to prove himself in solo outings too. They'll fuck this up but the 10 year olds will love it.

if batman v superman is point on, most people say DC will be on par with Marvel in one shot. Just to note, I couldn't even finish Guardians of the Galaxy, am really sick of Marvel campy/comedy movies. If I need comedy, I come to GetBig. DC's dark universe rules, and BvS looks nice and dark. Please don't let DC ever produce another Green Lantern type flick. They should keep their theatrical universe similar to the animated one.

I'm going to have to disagree. Yes, in a straight up spontaneous fight Superman will win. If both of them know its going to eventually come and Batman has time to plan. I'm going with Batman. Hes too cunning to not have a plan. This story in the comics is my favorite Batman storyline. Many of my friends feel the same way you do but given time, billionare and genius Bruce Wayne is going to put together something formidable and bait Superman where he wants him. It's because Superman is a good guy and has no reason to just squash him like a bug upon site. That's a weakness. Bad guys (not to say Batman is) don't limit themselves. Good guys do. So what would come natural for a bad guy a good guy might only do if pushed to the limit. Batman depending on the writer can definitely push limits but he's still a good guy. Batman>Superman Hulk is better than all of them anyway. Hulk is stongest one there is. Nerd off.

I wasn't happy about Ben Affleck as Batman at first......However I've come around.....Actually he is what you would imagine Batman to be...He is much taller and much more muscular than the other Batmans.....also if Warner Bros is allowing Affleck to direct the next Batman movie, then thats an awesome coup for Warner bros and the Batman series.....imagine having an Academy Award winning director directing a superhero movie...that would have been unheard of before this.

Yea the original quadrilogy, the burtons and the schumacher films changed the main actor and even tone but atleast continued without explaining the same stuff , but i guess not everyone will have seen all versions. Its like i felt why did the new spiderman need an origin story, it felt way too soon after maguires outings but then for many the garfield ones would be their first experience of a spiderman movie.

This trailer shows everything that's good and sadly everything that's wrong with it. SOme good casting in there, Jeremy Irons as Alfred is a stroke of brilliance. Affleck and Eisenberg are bad enough to drag this film down from what it could have been.

yea i'm 35, i dont think now batman 89 is fast paced enough, i liked it at the time coz it felt like an adult film and i was only 9. Now i just enjoy certain bits, and keatons batman throughout owns the role. visually i think burton nailed the look of gotham, the batmobile, batsuit and batwing, they still piss all over whats been put out since Including danny elfmans theme tune which was great used for the animated series too.

i grew up watching Keaton as Batman so i thought i rated him so highly in the role because of sentiment but i was watching Batman Returns of tv the other day and damn, he nailed the role and you're spot on - it's his mannerisms and the subtle things that really adds it.
he's got the perfect face and expression for the character, small mouth and big eyes so in the bat suit all you see is a big pair of cold eyes staring at you with an emotionless facial expression.
its the heavy eyelids, makes him look emotionless and deadly calm!
Bale i thought made too many silly faces! but he was great too in other ways, Keaton though IS Batman!

Even though I grew up with Keaton as Batman, from reading the comics Bale was always to me the perfect Bruce Wayne/Batman right off the page. Problem is with the way Nolan went about the story. Shouldn't have tried to keep things so grounded. Keaton also comes off as the smarter Batman. He solves the Joker's chemical poisoning mystery. In the Bale movies, he always gives the science work to Morgan Freeman.

i grew up watching Keaton as Batman so i thought i rated him so highly in the role because of sentiment but i was watching Batman Returns of tv the other day and damn, he nailed the role and you're spot on - it's his mannerisms and the subtle things that really adds it.
he's got the perfect face and expression for the character, small mouth and big eyes so in the bat suit all you see is a big pair of cold eyes staring at you with an emotionless facial expression.
its the heavy eyelids, makes him look emotionless and deadly calm!

The mask is cut differently. Keaton's is cut wider and squarer, to accentuate a squared jawline, or to give the illusion of such. Bale's is cut smaller.

When I first read The Dark Knight Returns, I could only picture this guy as Bruce Wayne/Batman.
He's getting a bit old for the role now, but even then, if they ever needed an older grizzled Batman, I think Keach would be a perfect choice.

Clooneys costume was fucking ridiculous, he must have dreaded going into work those days, wonder if he pulled on sickies?
Idealy the most true way to portray batman would be to have a martial arts expert play him, have it look like keatons costume but made the same and with the freedom of wests. Scott Adkins apparantly auditioned for the role and funny enough looks a bit like affleck, between them they would have a good batman, one acts better and one can actually show fighting ability.

Clooney had a broken foot and was in a cast during some of the filming. He said pretty much the same thing they all said back then. That it was really heavy and difficult to move in. I think the worst part about his mask was that they cut the eye holes to look like his droopy dog eye socket. Made it look like a down syndrome cowl. It was also the one time they almost painted it grey and blue, like the comics.

Tim Burton did make his batman too campy and Joel Schumacher turned them into live cartoons. Just horrible.

They came out at the exact right times for me. Bale's Batman when I was 8 probably would have bored me to death. But in my 20's they were exactly what I wanted. Same goes for Burton's Batman at the time.

Superheroes are made in many different ways. Some through training like the Green Arrow, others through circumstance like Spiderman’s bite, and others by being absolutely and ridiculously wealthy, like Batman.
So if you don’t fancy an extensive training program, didn’t fall to Earth from a different planet and you can’t seem to get a radioactive insect to bite you no matter how hard you try, your only option is to become disgustingly rich and buy a lair full of gadgets in order to become the superhero you know you were born to be.
But just how rich would you need to be to become a superhero like Batman, with all his cars and gadgets as of "Dark Knight Rises"? Well, comic historian Thaddeus Howze has come up with a pretty specific answer.
$682,450,750, to be exact.
That astronomical figure takes into account the Batcave-Mansion combo, and if you remove the cost of rebuilding Wayne Manor and the Batcave (although you obviously couldn’t be Batman without the Batcave), you could become your childhood superhero for a mere $83 million... far more achievable! That figure includes the suit, training, equipment, gadgets, and, of course, a trusty manservant.
So how did Howze calculate that figure? Let’s break it down.
The Suit
Batman's suit alone costs a wedge – made from Nomex materials, the suit is insulated, padded, fire-resistant and bulletproof (but only against small firearms). This high-tech piece of equipment would set you back about $1,058,600.

You won't catch Batman driving anything but the best and newest of rides, so how much would his vehicles set you back in your quest to become a millionaire hero?
The Tumbler alone would set you back a cool $18,000,000 – a military bridging vehicle equipped with weapons and capable of stealth mode operations, a ride like this doesn’t come cheap.
The Batpod, a motorbike-like vehicle that is essentially an escape pod from the Tumbler, is steered solely by shoulder movements and capable of turning 90 degrees almost instantaneously. It would cost you a reasonable $1,500,000.
And, of course, The Bat. A high-tech, top-of-the-line innovation, The Bat is a hovering vehicle capable of vertical take-offs and landing and is as agile as a helicopter. The estimated cost of such a craft would be as high as $60,000,000.

Plus DD is no more than a brute like the Hulk, so a whole movie dedicated to him wouldn't make sense. Personally, I thought they'd go with a deformed caveman type Bizarro Zod.

So many fanboys are ranting "they're showing the movie in the trailer! DC is spoiling everything!! They showed Doomsday!!"
Doomsday will be the primary baddie in this flick, but he isn't the big reveal. He's the big fight for the Trinity.
The Parademons in the desert scene with Bats are the key.....those things swarmed exactly like Parademons from comics and animated movies.
The big reveal in this will be Darkseid.....which I love!! The Thanos of DC!!
Remember this film will also reveal Aquaman (Jason Momoa) and Cyborg (don't remember actor)....the Justice League is being setup.
The trailer merely revealed the Trinity in Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman (who looked awesome by the way!).
I agree that with the introduction of Darkseid and Apokolips that the Lantern Corps will be revealed in the next movie as they police the universe and are well aware of Apokolips. How and why they introduce Apokolips and Darkseid is a mystery, but clearly alien life exists (via Superman). Perhaps they'll establish a longstanding Apokoliptian rivalry with now destroyed Krypton and Darkseid's discovery of Jor-El's offspring on Earth. Would make a reason for the Lantern Corp to show up and make Hal Jordan of Earth a new GL to police Earth and surrounding universe sector.
Maybe we get a taste of Darkseid's omega beams? Maybe baddies from Apokolips come to claim Doomsday?
Doomsday will be the third act and the film with most likely close with a boomtube and Desaad and/or Granny Goodness coming and possible a glimpse of Darkseid like Avengers did with Thanos.

I will always love Zack Snyder for bringing us 300 (one of my favorite movies) I think he will deliver with this movie, and build into the universe.

I actually think he will be pretty good.
It's all about the writing and the story.
If the story is shit, no actor can save it (Daredevil and Gigli to keep it Affleck related), but if the story is solid, then it's just doing what the writers and directors want you to do.
Affleck may be a better actor now that he's been on the other side of the camera as well. He may understand more about whatever "vision" a good director has for a movie.
The trailers make it look very compelling... I will definitely go see it.

I actually love that voice modulator they're using on him.
The costume is awesome and Ben is a fanboy.
He's got the looks and acting chops to deliver Bruce Wayne. Couple a great costume and CGI with his knowledge of Batman and he'll give us a better Batman than Keaton or Bale.

So many fanboys are ranting "they're showing the movie in the trailer! DC is spoiling everything!! They showed Doomsday!!"
Doomsday will be the primary baddie in this flick, but he isn't the big reveal. He's the big fight for the Trinity.
The Parademons in the desert scene with Bats are the key.....those things swarmed exactly like Parademons from comics and animated movies.
The big reveal in this will be Darkseid.....which I love!! The Thanos of DC!!
Remember this film will also reveal Aquaman (Jason Momoa) and Cyborg (don't remember actor)....the Justice League is being setup.
The trailer merely revealed the Trinity in Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman (who looked awesome by the way!).
I agree that with the introduction of Darkseid and Apokolips that the Lantern Corps will be revealed in the next movie as they police the universe and are well aware of Apokolips. How and why they introduce Apokolips and Darkseid is a mystery, but clearly alien life exists (via Superman). Perhaps they'll establish a longstanding Apokoliptian rivalry with now destroyed Krypton and Darkseid's discovery of Jor-El's offspring on Earth. Would make a reason for the Lantern Corp to show up and make Hal Jordan of Earth a new GL to police Earth and surrounding universe sector.
Maybe we get a taste of Darkseid's omega beams? Maybe baddies from Apokolips come to claim Doomsday?
Doomsday will be the third act and the film with most likely close with a boomtube and Desaad and/or Granny Goodness coming and possible a glimpse of Darkseid like Avengers did with Thanos.
Man, I hope those are Parademons!!

Agreed that this film is MUCH more complicated than people realize. DC, is, for lack of a better word, extremely psychedelic. The fact that they are opening up this world to Darkseid means that they are all in on DC.

Desperation, that's why. Studio execs know this movie is weak. IMO, this movie will tank. The pubic is already beginning to suffer from superhero saturation.

He had small protrusions in the trailer....they'll grow and become long, sharper, more jagged. I'm almost convinced of it.
To me he looks like Doomsday and if you've ever read his origin story and how he evolved the bony protrusions weren't there initially and overtime with constant reexposure to elements and danger they would increase in size.
For me the classic Doomsday has the bones protrusions across his eyes, the jagged bone beard, massive bones spikes extending across his massive back and beyond shoulder width and the wispy long white hair strands.
Still, I'm getting a big budget movie with Doomsday squaring off against the Trinity of DC!!! Nerdgasm!!!

They are trying to force in a Justice League movie and wanted to just get the intros out of the way. They saw the huge success of Avengers and need to cash in on it. This movie is just a commercial for the new JL they are planning.

Nice fight scene at the end where Superman realizes it's real. he toys with Bruce knowing he can destroy him but underestimates his abilities until Batman gets the upper hand and has the chance to kill Supe but doesn't to prove his point.

Snyder's Watchmen took a beating initially like BvS is, but Watchmen is a brilliant, beautifully made film. When I read critic opinions I can tell fairly confidently which are comic book fans and which are not and most critics are just film fans. I think CMB saturation is setting in for many....they're tired of the genre and want every film to be "Gone with the Wind" (which I didn't enjoy LOL).
Most often the films critics love I can't frikin stand. So I don't really care what critics think, let alone with critics think of CBMs. I like movies for what they are, not what they aren't.
One guy wants the movie to be one way and another guy wants it to be the opposite. Whose right? Ultimately BvS is supposed to be a darker film and sticks to comic book action faithfully yet with beatifully shot action (Snyder's forte), but that "editing, pacing, character development" is lacking. All these terms average Joes use today about movies make me wanna throw up.
I want to see Batman punch Superman, Superman to punch Batman, both to punch Doomsday, Doomsday to punch everyone and whole bunch of splosions, bone crunches and heat vision.

Perhaps he was unnerved by the harsh, operatic violence of Bruce Wayne’s parents getting murdered—the mom’s pearls get tangled around the gun, somehow, which allows for some very tight and poignant slow motion—or maybe he was offended by the notion that a 2016 Batman movie felt it necessary to depict Bruce Wayne’s parents getting murdered. this movie is nothing more than filling the gap for the JL movie. They're trying to introduce all the characters quickly. That's fine, but in doing that avoid the back story. Just have batman being batman and none of the history of why he's batman.

I think the film will be good, maybe not great?
I think Man of Steel was often brilliant, but Snyder seems to have trouble tying his brilliance together into one compelling narrative.
I think history will be kind to his film making (not saying he's ahead of his time, just misunderstood)
I will be there on Friday, and I will be grubbing on an overpriced dog and enjoying the hell out of a well deserved day off work.

Just got back from bvs. Entertaining to say the least. Definitely flawed, but that's to be expected with all the expectations of a batman vs superman flick. Affleck and Gadot give the best performances imo. Fun to see a comic book batman on the screen and this is coming from someone who loves the Nolan trilogy. Will see it again in the next week or so.

SPOILER ALERTS IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN IT, SCROLL DOWN FOR MY REVIEW But to save you some time. There aren't any secret scenes when the credits roll. I sat 10 minutes with about 1/2 the theater waiting for one and then it just didn't happen. Once the credits roll, the movie is over. You can thank me later.
Saw it last night. Affleck as Bruce Wayne = Pretty Good. Affleck as Batman = Shit. He just seemed bloated and had the "I have to take a shit" look the entire time. Some of the bad dream sequences were just disjointed. The fight scene with batman and the Russians was so horrible choreographed it looked more like a dance sequence than fight. Still don't care about all the flashbacks with Bruce's parents getting killed. Also lame was guy playing Lex. Still don't know why he was trying to be a cross between the Joker and the Facebook guy than a genius villain. he just didn't sell it for me.
Wonder woman. Sexy as fuck. She is my perfect female but she seems out of place as an Amazonian queen. Needs more meat, but she is nice on the eyes.
I really liked doomsday but not sure how Batman survived the constant red explosions.
Really fucking annoying and a carry over from the Superman movie is how Lois just happens to travel at light speed and ends up at the right place every time. Superman can be fighting in the sky travelling blocks at a time yet she's right there in a second. She was in it a little more than needed.
It was still pretty entertaining, I did love the tribal drums music when Wonder Woman shows up in the fight sequence.
If I can guess right I think Darkseid is the new bad guy. Better casting could have made this movie great from good. I think it would have been a slam dunk home run with Bale keeping the role and maybe someone a little more believable as wonder woman but she's still hot and I want to marry her. The Lex character needed to be less neurotic and Joker like. he just didn't convince me he was a villain. Reminded me more of Generation Nothingness overpriveleged kid.
The whole bonding thing between Batman and Superman over their mother's both being named Martha was corny as shit.
I still don't get how explosions happen, rocks are glowing red, flames everywhere and Lois just walks through the area like it isn't 300 degrees hot.

JUST SAW IT AND where oh where to begin.. leave you intelligence, common sense and any sense of logic at the door.. this movie has more "holes" in it then a stack of swiss cheese slices!... it's actually surprising even SHOCKING that the powers that be let this movie stand 'as is" and put it out there...the director must be a total HACK as well as the writers!....
to a comic fan and a non comic fan moviegoer the holes are glaring and even blatant.. the list is very long..
1) lex finds out superman is clark kent (never explained)
2) lex finds out martha kent is superman's mother (never explained)
3) lex bribes 1 senator without saying how really and is able to get a hold of zod's dead body and full access (even alone!) to the kryptonian damaged spaceship from "man of steel".. (REALLY? no way, no how would any 1 senator or the entire senate have the ability to give anyone no matter who, zod's body and access to the spaceship!
4) lex is able to get some scuba divers to the indian ocean to find kryptonite since it was leftover from the indian ocean terraformer spaceship from "man of steel"... (wouldn't that entire ocean area be NO ACCESS to ANYONE much less lex hiring some teenage looking scuba divers to do this work for him without a shred of any security or guarding of said waters?!
5) lex is able to get information on wonder woman including a photo of her nearly 100 years ago and batman steals that information as well so he knows wonder woman is diana prince AS WELL! information and video of diana/wonder woman at a bank, photo taken of her getting into a car and so on... because she is so stupid that while she wants to hide her identity from man's world she does a crappy job of doing it!...
6) the beginning of the movie where we see the fight and damage from "man of steel" and bruce's friend is killed in a skyscraper collapsing... bruce calls him to tell him to get himself and everyone out of the building.... THE ENTIRE CITY is coming down around them LITERALLY and they haven't left the building yet? really?! lol!..
7) the whole premise that because of his friend and others being killed that bruce/batman becomes obsessed that superman is destructive, needs to be taken down and so on... because "he brought the war to us" and because he has the power to destroy the planet and everyone in it, if there is 1 % chance he could go rogue and bad he needs to be taken down and destroyed?" HUH! sure, superman kind of brought the war to earth, but he didn't do it on purpose! and if it wasn't for him, the entire world WOULD HAVE BEEN DESTROYED AND every human killed!
meanwhile, the movie starts 18 months after the destruction of metropolis (oh wait, in this movie metropolis and gotham are just across the water, neighboring cities? and both cities were destroyed in "man of steel?" them being neighboring cities is never mentioned in "man of steel"!) and we (thus the world) are shown superman saving people and doing good deeds, but batman doesn't? still thinks superman could be bad and is suspicious of him? if he WANTED to destroy the world and people why hadn't he done it by now? it's not like superman was NOT DOING GOOD DEEDS AND SAVING PEOPLE in this time span from "man of steel" to this movie!..
their is also alot of play about superman being a alien and do we know he's all good and that whenever he does some good, others get hurt, blah, blah, blah? so it shows the public being totally irrational and stupid, forgetting he does 95% good for the world?
8) lex creates doomsday by using zod's dna (once again stupid how he was able to get a hold of his body!) and his own.. and that would work why?
9) lex finds out kryptonite affects kryptonians by experimenting on zod's DEAD BODY and sees how the green k destroys the cells and so on? how does that work if the body is dead and thus the cells would be as well???!!!
10) the fight: geez, that is a whole other topic! utterly ridiculous and unbelievable!... not to mention after the fight how superman can carry the green k spear and fly to fight and kill doomsday with it, but yet just a short time ago some green k gas can incapacitate him!..
11) MAJOR SPOILER AHEAD: superman is declared dead and we see in the same issue of the daily planet in the back pages (superman dead is on the front page) clark kent died as well "covering the batman/superman/wonder woman fight with doomsday... it's told that superman given a government funeral that is coffin is empty as i'm sure batman and wonder woman and lois let those not at the scene say that supermans' body was destroyed or whatever.. meanwhile theirs a funeral in kansas for clark kent and his body (not face though) shown in the coffin at the funeral and his being buried...the ending has it that superman as clark kent in that ground in kansas is not dead after all as the coffin and ground starts to shake a bit.. okay, so superman didn't die and lives.. how is it going to explain when clark kent comes back to life too?...
and yes, these are just the plot holes off the top of my head!...

For everyone else, if you didn't enjoy the film, the following is most likely true:
1) You didn't read comic books growing up (or as an adult).
2) You are tired of the comic book movie genre (it doesn't mean much to you anyways).
3) You didn't understand the references and what was happening so it moved to fast for you (sorry!)
4) You are easily persuaded by "professional" reviews!
Affleck is Batman and anyone that says otherwise doesn't have a clue....greatest on screen Batman I've ever seen.
Wonder Woman was awesome.....her solo movie comes next summer!!
I teared up at the end of BvS! I teared up at the action! I teared up because it played like comic books I read as a kid!
The movie isn't 30% on Rotten Tomatoes....gimme a break! It's isn't 5 out of 10....gimme a break!!
For people dishing those scores they just don't get it.

For everyone else, if you didn't enjoy the film, the following is most likely true:
1) You didn't read comic books growing up (or as an adult).
2) You are tired of the comic book movie genre (it doesn't mean much to you anyways).
3) You didn't understand the references and what was happening so it moved to fast for you (sorry!)
4) You are easily persuaded by "professional" reviews!
Affleck is Batman and anyone that says otherwise doesn't have a clue....greatest on screen Batman I've ever seen.
Wonder Woman was awesome.....her solo movie comes next summer!!

Affleck was so, bloated and looked uncomfortable as batman. He was a good Bruce Wayne though. The weak intro to the flash, cyborg and aquaman was lame.

MOS review (an actual lifelong comic book, action figure collecting, DC/Marvel fan and diehard Superman fan):

This movie was jam packed with Easter eggs. Prolly the only reason I'll watch it again. There were some references I couldn't catch.

SPOILER ALERT FOR THOSE WHO HAVEN'T SEEN IT YET....
JUST SAW IT AND where oh where to begin.. leave you intelligence, common sense and any sense of logic at the door.. this movie has more "holes" in it then a stack of swiss cheese slices!... it's actually surprising even SHOCKING that the powers that be let this movie stand 'as is" and put it out there...the director must be a total HACK as well as the writers!....
to a comic fan and a non comic fan moviegoer the holes are glaring and even blatant.. the list is very long..
1) lex finds out superman is clark kent (never explained) The ship taught him
2) lex finds out martha kent is superman's mother (never explained) The ship taught him
3) lex bribes 1 senator without saying how really and is able to get a hold of zod's dead body and full access (even alone!) to the kryptonian damaged spaceship from "man of steel".. (REALLY? no way, no how would any 1 senator or the entire senate have the ability to give anyone no matter who, zod's body and access to the spaceship! DoD owns the ship
4) lex is able to get some scuba divers to the indian ocean to find kryptonite since it was leftover from the indian ocean terraformer spaceship from "man of steel"... (wouldn't that entire ocean area be NO ACCESS to ANYONE much less lex hiring some teenage looking scuba divers to do this work for him without a shred of any security or guarding of said waters?! the kids worked for the white haired white guy, not working for lex. Just found and sold him the kryptonite
5) lex is able to get information on wonder woman including a photo of her nearly 100 years ago and batman steals that information as well so he knows wonder woman is diana prince AS WELL! information and video of diana/wonder woman at a bank, photo taken of her getting into a car and so on... because she is so stupid that while she wants to hide her identity from man's world she does a crappy job of doing it!... Kind of like S.H.E.I.L.D has details about everybody too
6) the beginning of the movie where we see the fight and damage from "man of steel" and bruce's friend is killed in a skyscraper collapsing... bruce calls him to tell him to get himself and everyone out of the building.... THE ENTIRE CITY is coming down around them LITERALLY and they haven't left the building yet? really?! lol!.. Kind of like 9/11 right?
7) the whole premise that because of his friend and others being killed that bruce/batman becomes obsessed that superman is destructive, needs to be taken down and so on... because "he brought the war to us" and because he has the power to destroy the planet and everyone in it, if there is 1 % chance he could go rogue and bad he needs to be taken down and destroyed?" HUH! sure, superman kind of brought the war to earth, but he didn't do it on purpose! and if it wasn't for him, the entire world WOULD HAVE BEEN DESTROYED AND every human killed! Yep, the point was a lex stated, you can be able powerful and all good
meanwhile, the movie starts 18 months after the destruction of metropolis (oh wait, in this movie metropolis and gotham are just across the water, neighboring cities? and both cities were destroyed in "man of steel?" them being neighboring cities is never mentioned in "man of steel"!) and we (thus the world) are shown superman saving people and doing good deeds, but batman doesn't? still thinks superman could be bad and is suspicious of him? if he WANTED to destroy the world and people why hadn't he done it by now? it's not like superman was NOT DOING GOOD DEEDS AND SAVING PEOPLE in this time span from "man of steel" to this movie!..
their is also alot of play about superman being a alien and do we know he's all good and that whenever he does some good, others get hurt, blah, blah, blah? so it shows the public being totally irrational and stupid, forgetting he does 95% good for the world?

8) lex creates doomsday by using zod's dna (once again stupid how he was able to get a hold of his body!) and his own.. and that would work why? his dna is in doomsday and he hates superman
9) lex finds out kryptonite affects kryptonians by experimenting on zod's DEAD BODY and sees how the green k destroys the cells and so on? how does that work if the body is dead and thus the cells would be as well???!!!
10) the fight: geez, that is a whole other topic! utterly ridiculous and unbelievable!... not to mention after the fight how superman can carry the green k spear and fly to fight and kill doomsday with it, but yet just a short time ago some green k gas can incapacitate him!..
He is weaken by this and why he "dies" at the end.
11) MAJOR SPOILER AHEAD: superman is declared dead and we see in the same issue of the daily planet in the back pages (superman dead is on the front page) clark kent died as well "covering the batman/superman/wonder woman fight with doomsday... it's told that superman given a government funeral that is coffin is empty as i'm sure batman and wonder woman and lois let those not at the scene say that supermans' body was destroyed or whatever.. meanwhile theirs a funeral in kansas for clark kent and his body (not face though) shown in the coffin at the funeral and his being buried...the ending has it that superman as clark kent in that ground in kansas is not dead after all as the coffin and ground starts to shake a bit.. okay, so superman didn't die and lives.. how is it going to explain when clark kent comes back to life too?...
and yes, these are just the plot holes off the top of my head!... movie wasn't the greatness, by you need to re watch you miss a lot of basic plot material.

From the moment I heard afleck was going to be batman I cringed at the thought of this movie.
Seen it yesterday and it was excellent, one of the best of its class ever. I still don't like afleck but he nailed it, not the best Bruce Wayne ever but still pretty darn good. Will see it again and will buy the Blue ray for rainy days

bethere! lol! i know, i know, i'm just saying.... the creators should have more respect, appreciation for the audience, public, comic fans..
on one hand, they want everyone to see it, everyone to be "invested" in the characters (as so many are and have been for years) and the story and possible future stories/films, and have the films set in "realistic/real/realism" but yet, they treat the characters, the material with shoddy "make it up as you go along" development, scenes, and so on....
basically they KNOW that no matter what people will flock to these films and they'll make their money back and with some profit.. it's called "paint by numbers, cynicism, no conscience" film making... the "art" of film making has flown out the window....
at least with the silly campy over the top batman films of schumacher, they knew what they were making and didn't expect the audience to take it seriously... they DID NOT take these films seriously, but yet, the makers of this film and i suspect the future dc films WANT the audience to be invested in it and take them to heart, but they treat the material, the characters and the audience with disdain.. like i said their are so many holes in this film it's INCREDIBLE!.. and that's even for the non comic fans who can pick these holes up!....

Just saw this yesterday in IMAX 3D and have to agree with MOS here.... This movie was great and made a lot more sense IF you followed the comics. It's not without its faults but it was still really good. It truly felt like the comic books came alive
First off Ben Affleck was EXCELLENT as Batman, HE IS BATMAN... Best iteration of Batman on screen yet... Most accurate to the comics.... And for those of you saying he was too bloated... that is indication that you really do not follow the comics. HE IS MEANT TO BE BLOATED... as per "The Dark Knight Returns" comic and cartoon when he Battled Superman. That is done intentionally to portray an older "heavier" slower batman (he even says it in the movie "I'm getting slow at my old age")

Same with the reviews saying that Batman was Psychotic.... HE IS MEANT TO BE PSYCHOTIC .... again, as per the comics... Batman/Bruce Wayne is deeply disturbed and has major issues, and anger issues, and parent issues, and this has never really been accurately addressed on screen until now. If you look at the comics you will think "WHAT THE FUCK THIS GUY HAS SOME SERIOUSLY MAJOR PROBLEMS!" Batman is a dick in all games, cartoon, comics, and he is finally a dick on screen!
Also - with the dream sequences, very relevant to the comics, and even the Arkham games.... remember in Arkham Asylum when he dreams his parents are zombies!!! BOOM bitches!!!
Anyways, let me continue with what I think this movie got right
- Loosely based on the Dark Knight Returns but also took some parts from other comics as well and was well executed! Really felt as though I was watching a comic book on the big screen
- The fighting was awesome, especially that part when Batman broke into that warehouse, it was like the comics or even like the Arkham games. I wish the fight between Batman and Superman lasted longer :-/
- Wonder Woman was kick ass, loved her role in the movie and the way they got her to fight!
- Loved all the easter eggs and nods to the comics, like emaciated superman after being hit by the nuke JUST LIKE IN THE COMICS!

First off Ben Affleck was EXCELLENT as Batman, HE IS BATMAN... Best iteration of Batman on screen yet... Most accurate to the comics.... And for those of you saying he was too bloated... that is indication that you really do not follow the comics. HE IS MEANT TO BE BLOATED... as per "The Dark Knight Returns" comic and cartoon when he Battled Superman. That is done intentionally to portray an older "heavier" slower batman (he even says it in the movie "I'm getting slow at my old age")

Same with the reviews saying that Batman was Psychotic.... HE IS MEANT TO BE PSYCHOTIC .... again, as per the comics... Batman/Bruce Wayne is deeply disturbed and has major issues, and anger issues, and parent issues, and this has never really been accurately addressed on screen until now. If you look at the comics you will think "WHAT THE FUCK THIS GUY HAS SOME SERIOUSLY MAJOR PROBLEMS!" Batman is a dick in all games, cartoon, comics, and he is finally a dick on screen!
Also - with the dream sequences, very relevant to the comics, and even the Arkham games.... remember in Arkham Asylum when he dreams his parents are zombies!!! BOOM bitches!!!
Anyways, let me continue with what I think this movie got right

Yeah.... I know its cool to hate on Ben Affleck as Batman.... but I'm not alone in this sentiment, even some professional critics who weren't crazy about the movie share this opinion

When we do see Batman, he is absolutely brutal and Affleck really nails it as both the Dark Knight and Bruce Wayne. He’s a physical powerhouse, the dapper playboy, the serious businessman, an obsessive authoritarian, and a relentless detective. Affleck is the best thing about BvS, instantly making the character of Batman his own. He should prove a sturdy anchor for future DC movies (but more on that later).

First of all (not first off), Ben "Gay" Affleck was atrocious as Batman, along with any other role he has played as an "actor". Christian Bale's version of Batman was LIGHT YEARS better than that of Ben "Gay" Affleck. Maybe because he could actually ACT.

The biggest issue about this film not casting related is that it was a bloated mess in that it spent too much time trying to build storylines for future movies and not just keeping this movie on point of Batman Vs. Superman. We could have waited to see the other JL members, they could have left out doomsday. I would have loved to see more cat and mouse games between the two, especially as Bruce Wayne vs. Clark Kent.

Saw it, thought it was a bit long. Could have been 1.5 hrs long and done just fine.
Affleck looks pretty damn good as Batman. What he doesn't have are great acting skills, but, then again, it's a movie about two weirdos dressing up and defending the city against a mutant creation that ignites a nuclear bomb off of itself. So how much pure acting is needed? Probably very little...
Superman has a bunch of other powers that they could have showcased. Freezing people by blowing at them, X-ray vision and an ability to do other crazy shit like turn back time (see below) could have been displayed.

Wonderwoman should have not been in the movie. She detracted from other shit that was going on and I don't think that her clasping of her wrists together and producing a small sonic boom was truly worth the unveiling of her character.
A young Lex Luthor was probably not a great idea.
My take, I give it a 6/10 and if watched at home, probably would give it at most a 7/10, but no more than that.

I love it. Ben is perfect as Bruce and his Batman is weighty and brooding. He's a brute. Amazing.
The movie does an excellent job putting forward just how powerful Superman truly is.
I find the whole abandoned Wayne Manor/glass out building fascinating.
I don't know why anyone who's a fan would desire a shorter running time. As it is, I wanted it to never end.
The Batmobile is ferocious and the Batwing menacing.
I love how Wonder Woman is at home when in combat. Shit's seriously hitting the fan with Doomsday winning, and there she is, smiling with glee to be in the fight. Attacking with zeal.
Major thumbs-up.

This was one of the major letdowns of the movie.
All the hatred Batman builds up for Superman (over the course of, I don't know, the first hour and a half of the movie) is suddenly defused by the fact that their mothers share the same name. Batman is literally about to kill Superman and suddenly Superman states, "You need to go and save Martha". Holy mommy issues Batman. Batman immediately has a flashback to his parents getting killed and suddenly, the dark knight becomes that scared little boy in a dark alley outside of a Broadway musical and starts to cry.
What the fuck was that about?

Here are some of my observations as it pertain to Tom's critique of various plotholes. Not saying I'm correct, I'm just saying LOL:
1) lex finds out superman is clark kent (never explained)
Clearly Lex is an evil genius and it was made very clear he’s compiled data on Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and the Flash. He knows who all of them are, but his focus is Superman. If he’s figured out the others that are basically “in hiding” then it seems reasonable he can figure out the primary focus (Superman) that isn’t. Plus he was given access to the Kryptonian ship that has all this data when he was able to negotiate access through top political means.
2) lex finds out martha kent is superman's mother (never explained)
He knew who Superman is so he’s figured out his roots. Along these lines of “plot holes” you could say things like “Alfred was working on Batman’s technical gear and flew the Batwing…..that’s never explained…..he’s a butler.”
3) lex bribes 1 senator without saying how really and is able to get a hold of zod's dead body and full access (even alone!) to the kryptonian damaged spaceship from "man of steel".. (REALLY? no way, no how would any 1 senator or the entire senate have the ability to give anyone no matter who, zod's body and access to the spaceship!
Well, there are no alien bodies in our world in which senators have access to, but we’re dealing with a universe of comic book material so it’s ok to cut it slack in a fictional universe that does. This isn’t a plothole…..the exchange between senator and luthor fills that gap even if the political schenanigans aren’t played out.
4) lex is able to get some scuba divers to the indian ocean to find kryptonite since it was leftover from the indian ocean terraformer spaceship from "man of steel"... (wouldn't that entire ocean area be NO ACCESS to ANYONE much less lex hiring some teenage looking scuba divers to do this work for him without a shred of any security or guarding of said waters?!
We don’t know there wasn’t security in the Indian ocean. Place could’ve been teaming with security. The world engine exploded in MOS and cast debris all over. Seems these folks could be looking in the more remote parts and got lucky. Since when does black market activity follow the rules?
5) lex is able to get information on wonder woman including a photo of her nearly 100 years ago and batman steals that information as well so he knows wonder woman is diana prince AS WELL! information and video of diana/wonder woman at a bank, photo taken of her getting into a car and so on... because she is so stupid that while she wants to hide her identity from man's world she does a crappy job of doing it!...
So you’re critical that literally the two top technicians, top brilliant minds and one being a fantastic detective cracked the code on Wonder Woman? Before the new 52 was launched DC ran the entire OMAC Project series that had Batman and Maxwell Lord secretly identifying and tracking metahumans all over the planet.
6) the beginning of the movie where we see the fight and damage from "man of steel" and bruce's friend is killed in a skyscraper collapsing... bruce calls him to tell him to get himself and everyone out of the building.... THE ENTIRE CITY is coming down around them LITERALLY and they haven't left the building yet? really?! lol!..
You’re critical of thousands of people in one of the tallest buildings in the city not being evacuating in minutes? They’re looking out the windows at the devastation around them trying to make sense of things. Are they safe? Where are their children? They need to make calls. Where were they supposed to go? Thousands of folks were killed in the 911 attack with one tower on fire and people weren’t able to get out before the second tower was hit. Elevators were shutdown and it takes a long time for thousands to stream down dozens and dozens of flights of stairs.
7) the whole premise that because of his friend and others being killed that bruce/batman becomes obsessed that superman is destructive, needs to be taken down and so on... because "he brought the war to us" and because he has the power to destroy the planet and everyone in it, if there is 1 % chance he could go rogue and bad he needs to be taken down and destroyed?" HUH! sure, superman kind of brought the war to earth, but he didn't do it on purpose! and if it wasn't for him, the entire world WOULD HAVE BEEN DESTROYED AND every human killed!
Superman is an alien as are Zod and crew. At that point in MOS folks didn’t really know what to think of Superman, but they knew he was powerful. And then Zod and Superman took down Wayne’s tower. He didn’t know who did that, but he knew it only took seconds. Was it Zod? Was it Superman? Was it both? All he knew is that thousands of his employees and friends died because of rampant alien destruction in the city. And now he wants to ensure that Superman won’t have a random bad morning and decide to wipe out a state. As Alfred indicated “this is how the fever starts…..with feeling powerless”. Batman’s been dealing with maniacs for a long time and now alien superpowers are wiping out a city in minutes. Yeah, he has cause for concern LOL. Still, Batman was in a more maniacal state himself and it took the connection between the Martha mothers for a bit of his humanity to be restored and for him to recognize the humanity in Superman.
8) lex creates doomsday by using zod's dna (once again stupid how he was able to get a hold of his body!) and his own.. and that would work why?
Would it make more sense to attempt to revive Kryptonian dna with Kryptonian technology or with human technology? He didn’t know if it would work, but he was attempting to do something sinister and unprecedented and it worked. He capitalized on gaining access to the Kryptonian ship and it’s incredible database of information. He was able to tap into the old (yet failed) Kryptonian protocol that produced genetic mutations. No we didn’t see the entire tutorial, but we can assume with Lex (being one of earth’s most brilliant, driven and insane) that he might figure something out.
You should read the comic book series on the origin of Doomsday on ancient Krypton. Scientist began with a baby like creature and tossed into the horrendous environment where it would die over and over. They took the dead husk and revived it again and again and again and again. This repeat exposure to extreme elements and creatures caused Doomsday to slowly adapt and evolve. Apparently this protocol was incorporated into the film.
9) lex finds out kryptonite affects kryptonians by experimenting on zod's DEAD BODY and sees how the green k destroys the cells and so on? how does that work if the body is dead and thus the cells would be as well???!!!
Why does Kryptonian organic matter have to function in the same manner as human organic matter?
10) the fight: geez, that is a whole other topic! utterly ridiculous and unbelievable!... not to mention after the fight how superman can carry the green k spear and fly to fight and kill doomsday with it, but yet just a short time ago some green k gas can incapacitate him!..
Within comic books Superman has functioned with Kryptonite on several occasions although it quickly weakened him. The time elapsed in this scene was seconds.

This was one of the major letdowns of the movie.
All the hatred Batman builds up for Superman (over the course of, I don't know, the first hour and a half of the movie) is suddenly defused by the fact that their mothers share the same name. Batman is literally about to kill Superman and suddenly Superman states, "You need to go and save Martha". Holy mommy issues Batman. Batman immediately has a flashback to his parents getting killed and suddenly, the dark knight becomes that scared little boy in a dark alley outside of a Broadway musical and starts to cry.
What the fuck was that about?

I agree with you. In terms of true warrior proficiency she's better than Superman and Batman by far. It would've been the better choice, but they were attempting to be comic book faithful and it's Superman and Doomsday that wipe each other out.
In one comic book encounter between Doomsday and the JLA both Martin Manhunter (who Superman is almost afraid to fight) and Wonder Woman get their butts handed to them by Doomsday.

It seems very possible we will see something like this. My guess is that the entrance of Darkseid and the new gods of Apocalypse will usher in the union of the Justice League (sans Superman) and the finale must be Superman's return and showdown with Darkseid.

Here are some of my observations as it pertain to Tom's critique of various plotholes. Not saying I'm correct, I'm just saying LOL:
Clearly Lex is an evil genius and it was made very clear he’s compiled data on Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and the Flash. He knows who all of them are, but his focus is Superman. If he’s figured out the others that are basically “in hiding” then it seems reasonable he can figure out the primary focus (Superman) that isn’t. Plus he was given access to the Kryptonian ship that has all this data when he was able to negotiate access through top political means.
He knew who Superman is so he’s figured out his roots. Along these lines of “plot holes” you could say things like “Alfred was working on Batman’s technical gear and flew the Batwing…..that’s never explained…..he’s a butler.”
Well, there are no alien bodies in our world in which senators have access to, but we’re dealing with a universe of comic book material so it’s ok to cut it slack in a fictional universe that does. This isn’t a plothole…..the exchange between senator and luthor fills that gap even if the political schenanigans aren’t played out.
We don’t know there wasn’t security in the Indian ocean. Place could’ve been teaming with security. The world engine exploded in MOS and cast debris all over. Seems these folks could be looking in the more remote parts and got lucky. Since when does black market activity follow the rules?
So you’re critical that literally the two top technicians, top brilliant minds and one being a fantastic detective cracked the code on Wonder Woman? Before the new 52 was launched DC ran the entire OMAC Project series that had Batman and Maxwell Lord secretly identifying and tracking metahumans all over the planet.
You’re critical of thousands of people in one of the tallest buildings in the city not being evacuating in minutes? They’re looking out the windows at the devastation around them trying to make sense of things. Are they safe? Where are their children? They need to make calls. Where were they supposed to go? Thousands of folks were killed in the 911 attack with one tower on fire and people weren’t able to get out before the second tower was hit. Elevators were shutdown and it takes a long time for thousands to stream down dozens and dozens of flights of stairs.
Superman is an alien as are Zod and crew. At that point in MOS folks didn’t really know what to think of Superman, but they knew he was powerful. And then Zod and Superman took down Wayne’s tower. He didn’t know who did that, but he knew it only took seconds. Was it Zod? Was it Superman? Was it both? All he knew is that thousands of his employees and friends died because of rampant alien destruction in the city. And now he wants to ensure that Superman won’t have a random bad morning and decide to wipe out a state. As Alfred indicated “this is how the fever starts…..with feeling powerless”. Batman’s been dealing with maniacs for a long time and now alien superpowers are wiping out a city in minutes. Yeah, he has cause for concern LOL. Still, Batman was in a more maniacal state himself and it took the connection between the Martha mothers for a bit of his humanity to be restored and for him to recognize the humanity in Superman.
Would it make more sense to attempt to revive Kryptonian dna with Kryptonian technology or with human technology? He didn’t know if it would work, but he was attempting to do something sinister and unprecedented and it worked. He capitalized on gaining access to the Kryptonian ship and it’s incredible database of information. He was able to tap into the old (yet failed) Kryptonian protocol that produced genetic mutations. No we didn’t see the entire tutorial, but we can assume with Lex (being one of earth’s most brilliant, driven and insane) that he might figure something out.
You should read the comic book series on the origin of Doomsday on ancient Krypton. Scientist began with a baby like creature and tossed into the horrendous environment where it would die over and over. They took the dead husk and revived it again and again and again and again. This repeat exposure to extreme elements and creatures caused Doomsday to slowly adapt and evolve. Apparently this protocol was incorporated into the film.
Why does Kryptonian organic matter have to function in the same manner as human organic matter?
Within comic books Superman has functioned with Kryptonite on several occasions although it quickly weakened him. The time elapsed in this scene was seconds.

Snyder just never understood Superman 100%. maybe 75% max, giving him credit. Eisenberg almost destroyed this film. and Chris Terrio helped him nuke the fridge.

I enjoyed the movie a lot, but mainly because of Batman. However I don't think that had much to do with Ben, or that he defined the role. They had a good stuntman and a great design. So while he was fine, to me it had more to do with how Batman was written. Whereas only Bale could have pulled off Batman in the Nolan trilogy.

for 20 bucks the sound is flawless, just the right ammount of bass, just the right ammount of melodies, you can hear every instrument and every sound, blocks most of the outside noises
but i have to buy a set every few months because the other side gets mute all the time. it seems the wire connectors that go in my cellphone socket loosen up or something, because i can get the other side work again if i push the wire closest to the socket towards it, but eventually that won't work neither and the other side stays mute
but this is a cheaper option for me, i break everything and anything i buy eventually, so might as well buy a cheap version that is designed to break every month or two

Affleck as Bat was very good.
Superman was very good.
Wonder Woman was good.
Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor was terrible.
Didn't even need a Lex Luthor in the movies. What a stupid casting decision.
Overall though. Definitely good.

The more I read on here the more tempted I am to watch this now rather than wait for the blueray. I know affleck and eisenberg will sour my enjoyment of it but it sounds like there may be enough good in this film to overcome that.

I had the utmost disgust (at first) that Affleck was cast as Batman (i thought it was a very bad castingchoice) when it was revealed back then, but he was actually one of the better things with the movie!
He did a very good job portraying an older and bitter Batman.

I was expecting that, but some of the scenes were for kids not more than 12 years old like the "Martha scene" where batman all of a sudden decides superman is his buddy.
Also the Luther character was played by some skinny jewish bitch which ruined one of the best villains.
Moreover, superman's bitch was ugly as fuck.

Seen it tonight. Not my type of genre so i was expecting utter dogshit but it wasn't too bad. Certainly no "Dark knight rises", but it was watchable. Affleck was surprisingly good as batman, Amy Adams was sexy as hell - as usual, and wonderwoman.....HO LEE FUK...absolutely smoking. As soon as she started getting screen time, that was my mind gone. All i could think about was how badly i'd love to hire a lookalike dominatrix to put on that outfit and kick the living shit out of me.

To seem mortal/human one would assume. That was his big thing during those years, trying to fit in and not make people suspricious.
If there were no humans on the boat at all (just supes), it would be a totally different matter.
If a relative/aquaintance wanted him to help with their fishing business, he would probably drive out with the boat (where everyone could see him), and then when he would be all alone, he'd just grab a net and swim down undersea and catch all the fish by himself, without the aid of the ship.
He wouldn't walk under a cage when alone. He would probably even lift the boat and fly home with it until he got close to land :D
