One time on the Nuclear Nutrition Forum many years ago, he showed a picture of him without his shirt. He was huge but wasn't cut or anything....very pasty as well.

Trevor at his peak was 432 lbs.Nancy his ex wife, owned a womens naughty clothing line called Naughty NAUGHTY, I beleive. So she was a good seamstress.She used to make or alter all of Trevor Smiths Clothes. When I had dinner with Trevor, Nancy, Dennis Newman, and myself.I weighed about 290 lbs at 10 % bodyfat.Trevor was just coming off of his peak weight of 432 lbs so he was probably 412lbs. My point was he was massive, I mean massive.At 290lbs I felt like a mop handle next to him.
Trevor was extremely strong too. For the record, Trevor, didnt take his own life.He was very very depressed after Nancy left him and he was not himself. He did lose alot of weight, and had alot of stress, depression and Anxiety. Trevor Smith died from a brain aneurysm.He did not commit suicide.!!!
The realitor who was selling Trevors house came by and found Trevor Passed away, I beleive in the Kitchen. The Clark County Coroner ruled his death a severe Brain Aneurysm.
Trevor was deeply hurt and depressed over Nancy leaving him, but Trevor, wasnt the kind of person to take his own life. Trevor was going through his wife leaving him and going back to New York, and was deeply hurt. Trevor had just opened the BFT Training Center and was starting to shoot videos.BFT=Beyond Failure Training I am telling you, if he didnt pass away his gym and videos would have been awesome, we are talking balls to the wall dungeon type of training .Like Dorian Yates, but 130 lbs bigger and stronger.

Trevor was a good guy !! He was always more than helpful with everyone I saw him come into contact with. John is right Trevor was not taking his and nancy split very well at all. He was one of the few guys back in the day to push the limits on the way you think in terms of building muscle and training. And for the record he was strong as FUCK !! R.I.P my friend

Trevor Smith was more like a Greg Kovacs.....HUGE and more of a stronman.....as opposed to being a bber......Yates was outsized by very few men.....Trevor was a mountain.....but don't tell us he would be more of a bber than Yates.....please don't go there!

I recall first meeting Trevor as one of the National BB Contest expos and even though he was very upset about the location of his booth and was trying to get something done about it, he was cordial and loved talking about bodybuilding.
We spent about ten minutes talking and after seeing that nothing was being done about the location of his booth, I volunteered to find some promoter who would possibly be able to help him.
That must have worked well because later that afternoon he took a break to thank me personally.
I have no idea what his bodywt was back then but he was definitely huge ... but definitely no where near contest shape.

Travor Smith has always cordial, always respectful to me - yes, he has big, over 400 pounds, and very strong, but when I knew him, he wasnt competing, and more of a businessman. With the supplements and Nancy's clothing line at the time, that is where I met Jen Cook, who was working the booth for them. And as we have seen, big guys tend to have more problems, as the heart, and body work a lot harder. Rest in peace.

He looked a lot like Scot Mendelson.
He was a legit badass. He used to duct tape plates to the hammer strength machines because he was so fucking strong.
I met him one time at show in NY that my friend was in. He was at least 400 pounds and a very cool guy. I remember he was talking about his BFT or demon training. It was pretty brutal and i tried it for a while, but i felt it was too easy to get injured using this protocol.

All I am saying is this......a 400 pound gym rat aka strongman....shouldn't be mentioned in the same sentence as Dorian Yates.....a 6 time Mr. Olympia!!!! He was a dominating force in the world of bbing.....Trevor Smith was a self proclaimed training guru.....much like Dante.....neither gent did squat in bbing.....very much like Kovacs.
