So where's the Steiners? #2? These guys seriously suplexed! I'm for the show. Make up and shoulder pads. But Steiners really laid out some very mean slams.

I agree with you there. I think the Road Warriors are considered the best because of their presence and power. The Steiners were IMHO better athletes and better suited for pro wrestling. They were both kick ass tag teams though and all 4 of them were complete badasses.

I wonder if either RW ever got into a scrap with the Steiners or Bulldogs.
I've heard plenty of backstage incidents involving all those guys, though not necessarily together.

However, while Scott Steiner & Dynamite seemed a bit like bullies, RW's came off more as guys who simply didn't take shit from anyone.
Scott & Billington also stood their ground on issues, but I suspect were a little more antagonistic - especially Scott.

It's been said that one of the few guys backstage who were not intimidated by him was Benoit because he had the physical skills & power to match.
I don't think Scotty ever tried it on with "The Crippler" anyway.
 
Then again, a real-life feud between any of those men would have been monumental and almost certainly discussed by anyone who witnessed it.

Benoit never had the physical anything to match Steiner. Scott was bigger, stronger and just as fast as Chris. But Benoit being one tough rugged mofo, probably didnt get picked on alot by anyone. Plus he was a cool dude. I think Scott, being the great athlete he was, only made problems with the guys backstage that thought they were tough or real athletes, when they weren't really either and Scott just like exposing them.

I remember watching this on tv when I was a kid. I went nuts hoping Hawk and Animal would kill the 4 Horsemen. This was leading up to the Great American Bash where Flair would defend his belt 14 times. It was tremendous!! This was the best wrestling has to offer...EVER!!!

This is a slap in the face to any old school serious wrestler who busted his / her ass for years in the business. Now can you blame Bruno Sammartino for not wanting anything to do with the WWE / HOF or Vince??? I don't.

Lets be honest here, VKM despite his monetary success in wrestling has constantly spit in its face....

from the invasion of territories during a time when promoters followed a "gentlemans agreement"

to the cartoonish shit of the 80's...

to forcing lame gimmicks on the vast majority of wrestlers who turned up in the WWF.....Terry Taylor being a prime example...

to breaking kayfabe with the "no more black and white, fans are too sophisticated" stuff...

to backtracking on the above statement and going to the PG/lame garbage he has going now...

to idiotic nods with the HOF and exclusions of others...

and there are many other things you guys can plug in.   VKM is a very odd/messed-up man on many levels IMO.
