Something else about the JM press? Most people fuck up the bar speed.

Powerlifting is all about speed and force....but JM did his JM presses pretty slow..really working the negative and damn near as slow on the way back up.

Almost everyone I’ve seen doing them in gyms is throwing that shit like it’s speed day or something.

Straight arms Cabel Pullovers on a Flat Bench.

You do it like in the first Video but with a Cable like in the picture.

Don't stop at the highest Point like in the Video, use the full Cable Leghth and get down to you're legs.
Do this Exercice realy slow and concentrate on the muscle.
Only use you're Chest for this Exercice.

Also use one of these and a realy wide grip.

This is the best Chest exercise i know, better than Bench Press and Flys in my Opinion.

Maybe Similar in some Aspects, my Exercice is still better as you can better conzentrate on the muscle.
You don't have to keep your balance. Gironda DIPS are Great, but different.

Your explanation is a little confusing for me. Are you saying you are doing a pullover with a cable through all the way to your thighs and back to the stretch position?

Yes, this 100%.
Sorry for my bad explanation, you nailed it!

Also u do a real deep stretch.

In the stretch position you can use a bit momentum on the way up.
Only in the beginning, that you can use more Weight.
But hold you're Arms completely extendet.

Do this exercice strikt, you can't use alot of Weight.
Use as much Weight you can, as long as you're Arms are extendet you are good.
Only use you're Chest.

I have to try it. Just wondering if the cable will hit me in the head when I take it to my thighs.

I was given a total gym a long time ago...thing is actually pretty good for warm ups...I do straight arm pullovers with it every day...really hits the abs.

Yes this is a Problem, you can stop if you feel the Cable on you're Head.
But more stretch is better.

As the physiognomy is different you can also try slightly different Angles. (negative bench etc.).

Also put the Bench the furthest away from the Cable
this way you will have a better angle and more way till the cable hits you're head.

Hmmm, you are right, Interesting it is pretty much total gym. (With much more Weight)

It will hit upper abs, upper\lower Chest.
You could Combine it with bench Press.
One day Bench, other day these.

You don't have to do Flys and Dips anymore, this is more than enough stretching.

This was my only Chest Exercice (almost), as it was the most effective.
I did sometimes up to 20-25 Sets per Chest workout.
100% Volume-training, you will get a realy good Pump.

(Home-Gym, pausing was long..fewer Sets & shorter breaks will do the same)
