one of my favorite posters...
After someone posted pics of his sister he just vanished. He also had a small part in the movie 300.
I wonder if he still works out

Generally better builds/structure in the 90's.
Have anyone compiled all the heights for the different decades? Feels like since the 70's it has been shorter and shorter line ups.

. This era has to be 5'6" or 5'7". Which is below average.
Yip yip.

Notwithstanding that color doesn't mean squat, regarding this issue, Gunter hardly has a blocky waist.

Yep, like 6' Dennis Wolf, 6'2" Freeman, 6'1" McMillan. Those are some real smurfs there.

Its okay, Jay... you lived a good life(http://www.gratisimage.dk/image-F8C5_5051AD0E.jpg)

Gunter had a pretty wide waist--not so much as blocky, but wide...
But, he'd be winning contests today---great back, arms, chest, legs, and abs.

I beg to differ, especially in his Guntermania video (which I got, dirt-cheap, on clearance sale). His waist looks small, especially for someone nearly 300 lbs in contest shape.
You want a wide waist, that would be "The Future" Jim Quinn.

He was the future in a sense -- first case of Palumboism that I can recall. Well, before, you know, Palumbo himself :D
I'm actually teasing. Jim didn't suffer from Palumboism, but good God was his waist wide. In one of the magazines, he was raising hell about his placings and said, "What am I supposed to do, literally shave inches off my pelvis?" (Answer: YES. And get your ears pinned, too :D.)

Keep in mind that, he was used to high placings from his first two years in the WBF, the last of which he placed 2nd to Gary Strydom at the WBF Championship.
1991 WBF Championship (Rookie year, placed 4th)
1992 WBF Championship (placed 2nd)
He gets to the IFBB and gets clobbered, because he's too blocky.

Very good point, Mr. McWay ;)
