Big time. I like most of the sub genres within it. It feels like one of the only genres with actual musical talent in it.

I mostly listen to instrumental versions of songs but I enjoyed this bands attempt at clean singing.

I went to Slash's Serpent Blues Festival last night and he was absolutely fantastic. it was a smaller outdoor show and we were able to get close to the stage.
No Guns or Velvet Revolver songs just blues covers that were cranked up to 11.

... He was made to play a Les Paul. He used Firebirds,Explorer, and a 12 string but the second he hit a note on the Les Paul it was just different.

Saw Metallica/Pantera Fri and Metallica Sun.

Pantera tribute was excellent start to finish.

Metallica played a bit too much new shit. They didn't play Battery or Damage Inc.........but they can still rip and are excellent overall.

And by new shit, I mean stuff written after 1990.

Re-recordings are hit-and-miss but the Cavalera versions of the early Sepultura albums are great, Schizophrenia is the best so far. Listened to it for the first time at the gym today, definitely stays on the playlist.
