Not sure but what I have read Chick couldn't handle the heat of a Gimmick.Too many hard questions about IFBB Drug Rules and IFBB Rep stuff about Milos and Priest.Many here would think he should NOT have Mod rights.

I disagree, Bob does a good job around here and IMO as the IFBB Athletes rep... It's a thankless job at the best of times, most of the pro's bitch and moan about a whole host of subjects but not many of them man up and voice their concerns in the proper way (in order to be fairly heard) with the IFBB.
Also, truth be told The Godfather is a troll who couldn't care less about the state of bodybuilding.

Athletes dint put 12-14 weeks of money and effort into preparing for a show to purposely bail out....doesn't happen. No advantage to fine the athlete.....and none have.

Good point considering the Contract has to be signed 6weeks before the contest.Maybe Priest is not worried about the contract as he doesn't need air tickets to get there.

Firstly Hank your attacks are very un-Australian. You pretend to be an American but I know the truth. I do not know why you are so bitter and twisted and I think 99% of your posts are unfunny. Sorry I did not reply sooner but it was the weekend and I was busy with family and fun. It must have been great for you sitting on your computer while the rest of Australia were enjoying this beautiful weather and lucky country. Ah well, whatever floats your boat. You godfather and Vince would make a great trio and you all have something in common - no mates.
Now for the fans that are coming to the show. No one has bought tickets for the contest, because they dont go on sale until next Monday. Although I have indicated Lee is competing, as with Toney, Silvio and others he will do his best to be there. As Bob rightfully says, no one is going on a diet etc for nothing. However shit happens.
The Australian tennis open starts today and there is always someone pull out at the last moment, as with golf, footy and all mainstream sports. The fans will deal with it and I doubt the promoters will be attacked for making false claims...
The fans go to see the event and generally appreciate whatever we can deliver. Sometimes I surprise the fans with an extra star, eg Dexter in 2004 was not on the poster, yet made it to the show and won. I did not charge anyone extra for their tickets. I am trying to get Kai Green to compete this year and I would get Vic here if I can. They would not make the poster but I am sure the real fans would appreciate it.
Lee has my full support, as I posted on the other thread, he is doing his best. He has been a great supporter of my show and has time for every fan that attends. You have no idea how much Lee does behind the scenes to make show work, so leave him alone. Sometimes I feel like quitting but I dont, cause the people that really support bodybuilding appreciate what I do. This does not include internet trolls and wankers like hank and god father. So we all knuckle down and get it done.
To those that support bodybuilding thank you and those that dont, fuck you!

The Aussie pro depends on much more than Lee competing you imbecile. Lee is a drawcard but as you know, anything can happen. I really hope he makes it but whatever happens, i know he will do his best for the fans, as always.
I have got 15-20 other pros to worry about and same goes, they will do their best.

Ive been saying Hanks an Aussie all along, not only that i think hes a victorian, he doesnt have a huge knowledge of the sport either just reads what he can on the internet then throws his negative angle on everything. He used to be funny at times but his passionate hate for anything Aussie is sickening.

Contest prep is hard enough... try doing it with a torn bicep tendon. But he is and he will be there. But he will not go onstage if he doesn't look his best or close to his best. As for the contract... Lee has not signed it yet. The deadline is March 9... a week before the show.
Tony is not lying... Lee told him he is doing the show... and he is. He has said many times on other boards the Australian Pro will be his first show back... and depending on his shoulder injury and his condition ... he will be onstage.
He has not torn his bicep but the tendon that anchors the bicep to the shoulder. This limits him on certain excercises. But from what I've heard, he is in the gym twice a day and doing cardio twice a day as well.
I have inside sources that have shown me the IP address of Hank Wood. His IP address is from Canberra, Australia. If Hank is so truthfull, why does he hide behind a screen name. Why not say who he really is.... cause he's a fuckin coward...

Yes, promoters are out to make money, they need hard line atheletes like we all do here at the Australian Open.
Unfortunately, we cannot pay the promoters of bodybuilding; perhaps if the bodybuilders turned to tennis, they also might get 500,000 in gate takings through the door over 2 weeks?

Priest has been quite clear about his comeback. He continues to state that: if he is not 95 to 100% fit he will not be getting be going any where near the Aussie Pro stage!
Priest has a major tendon rupture that requires surgery. Each and every day he trains, the injury gets worse. He is risking a bicep tear or something worse.
Priest will not make the Aussie Pro his comeback show.

can't wait to see lee onstage again. hope he makes it. I experienced the same sort of bicep injury he did, I think. But it really wasn't like an injury at all. through years of powerlifting and moving into bodybuilding, one of my biceps was always shaped slightly differently: less peak, but much tighter muscle belly and much more vascularity. When I was doing a side bi-chest I was twisting my wrist outward and there was a very definite pop and a very awkward feeling down the nerves in my arm. however, it never really hurt and I went back to training it within a week. ever since, I've had a much better peak and training arms has never been better.

I have been to the Aussie Pro Show for the last four years with the exception of the show held in the Gold Coast, I personally travel to Tonys Gym each year to purchase the tickets and I have always found Tony to be genuinely passionate about the sport and a very friendly and honest man. I have always enjoyed the show regardless of who is competing, Lee isn't the only drawcard at this show. In the past Tony has attracted to Australia bodybuilders such as legends like Ronnie Coleman, Jay Cutler, Dexter Jackson, Vince Taylor, Melvin Anthony, Chris Cormier, Markus Ruhl & Dennis James. I loathe and detest Hank Wood and it is people such as this, that, amongst other things, has finally triggered a lack of interest for me in the sport of bodybuilding. The only people who find Hank funny or entertaining are pimply faced idiotic young men (18-25).
