What is your definition of athlete then?  

Why is it necessary to argue semantics to such an extreme with "sport" and "athlete?"  Would you prefer that "guy" or "people who compete" or some other pseudonym be used in place of athlete every single time a reference to bodybuilding is made?  

Why is it only truth if it's brutally negative?  If this Jay Cutler is a nice man, why would saying such be ass kissing?  If he isn't an "athlete" why must it be said in such a hateful way?  
Andy why is it when the latter is done it is covered by the guise of "I'm just being true?"

Thats your criteria whether someone is an athlete or not??

I have no problem climbing stairs, and I'm a 270 lb. bodybuilder...I had no problem playing football, baseball, bowling, golfing, passing the Police Acedmy requirements, being an American Gladiator or anything else I've ever tried of the athletic nature...all while I've been a bodybuilder...from teen to local to National to pro.
