Troy Alves Wins in Hartford -- Steve Kuclo Conquers Vegas!

Its list of past champions is as impressive as any list in bodybuilding. Defendis, Robinson, Matarazzo, Wheeler, Cormier, Titus, James, Anthony, Cicherillo, JOJ, Heath.....and those are just a few of the Men who's Pro careers began with an overall title at the NPC's USA Championships.  This past weekend in Las Vegas the tradition continued as Steve Kuclo joined the club. This weeks broadcast includes a report from the judges table following a record-setting night in Las Vegas. -- And while the amateurs were battling in Vegas, the IFBB's Pro circuit made a stop in Hartford for a Europa event that sent 3 new qualfiers to the Olympia, including the event's champion, Troy Alves! -- Presented by MuscleTech, "Pro Bodybuilding Weekly" Episode #231 airs on Monday at 8pm ET.

Gustavo was beating Ronnie's ass in challenge rounds a few years back.  Why hasn't he been unable to bounce back since then?

For any neophytes , and i mean that with all respect , if you don't know the story of the USAs , here's an excellent chance to hear it . It was a great listen , as you hear from those who watched the show from the audiences looking up  , and then Bob telling the tale from the stage looking out , at the audience .

In my opinion it was one of PBWs top 10 shows of all time .

On a side note ,  many of those NPC Nationals , which ran currently year in year out , were set up by default , of those who didn't win the USAs.

All said with No Disrespect to the Nationals .

I've traveled to many nationals to watch, but never witnessed a USA , as i found the Nationals to be a more exciting show to go see , but still loved the USAs.

Wow , great point , me neither , great observation, but those who traveled to the other currently running qualifiers did , i.e  : NPC Nationals , IFBB  North American's , UKs  did.

See how much great discussion came from those 45 min of PBW radio , that's why they're the best .

I concur , He'll certainly accomplish this,  within the next 3 years at most .

BTW did you enjoy the show itself, or just the fall out discussions ???   just wondering.
