Kobe Bryant’s personal trainer says heavy minutes had NOTHING to do with injury

Wouldnt argue with Tim Grover, he is the man to go to for PT, was Jordan's PT for years.

Tim Grover, who has trained Kobe, Lebron, and Jordan, was asked who would win a 1-on-1 battle of Jordan vs. either of the other two:

"Grover: Oh, Michael. NO question. From a physical and mental standpoint, he's the best I've ever seen. If he were playing now, with the way the refs call EVERY thing, and with ALL the padding these guys wear, he'd average 40 or 50 a night if he wanted."

Question: Who was better, Michael Jordan or Kobe Bryant?

Grover: "Michael Jordan is hands down the best player of ALL-time. Even Kobe would agree. MJ had a feel for the game that is unparalleled. His instincts offensively and defensively were amazing."

"If you're gonna play the game, boy, ya' gotta' learn to play it right.

You got to know when to hold 'em, know when to fold 'em,
Know when to walk away, and know when to run.
You never count your money, when you're sittin' at the table.
There'll be time enough for countin', when the dealin's done.

Imagine if Dwight, Pau and Steve rally to win the championship.  That would be irony that Kobe would t be needed.
That will never happen! They won't get out of the west!

I'm sure if you asked someone who was on Lebron's payroll for a decade he would say the same thing about Lebron.

wow... watching th Heat toy with the Bulls today... you realize how much the caliber of play has improved since Jordan's days...

I watched almost every game of jordan's career on WGN or NBC for the weekend games... and as incredible as he was, I think LeBron is going to eclipse it.

Today's athletes are just built something different.  That Heat team is incredible.

240 thank you.

I have been saying this for the last 3 years. physically jordan was to quick and fast for his era, ffs they use to smoke cigarettes and drink beer back then, today just about every guard is amazingly athletic.

Lebron is very very good.

and I USED to think jordan's killer instinct was unbeatable...

but today?  he'd be something like what we saw from kobe this year... valiant effort, amazing highlights, but the team always neck-and-neck with some shitty bobcats team instead of blowing them out like the heat would.

just looking at the way a player like Wade can stride from the free throw line to a easy layout in a single move is unreal.  the GH era will be remembered as way greater than the steroid era was for baseball.  If /when they do crack down, players will become tired and injured once again.

Jordan is the best cause he's the most fundamentally sound player the game has ever seen. Added he was super athletic, killer instinct, the will to win and a team leader. Jordan was an old man with the Wizards and still had games of 50 points and 40 points, all off skill. I like LeBron and I think he can make it interesting when its all said and done, but until then I'm not convinced.

physically, lebron is totally superior to jordan.

Lebron led a team of scrubs to the finals with cleveland.   Jordan couldn't beat DET and get to the finals without Pippen - a Top 50 player of all time.

Yea but what happened when LeBron met the Mavs? Jordan would never lose to that Mavs team...so he got beat by those Pistons team, an all time great team...no shame in that. But Jordan always put up big numbers in the playoffs...can never stop him.
