I'm betting, in 3 months, we see Swaggy schooling  Kobe in practice.   OR worse, Kobe injured again, Swaggy leading Lakers to the 8th playoff spot (ensuring mdeiocrity and no draft picks that matter), and Kobe is stuck on bench... and Swaggy casually mentioning to the cameras that Kobe's steel must be rusting or something, cause he hasn't seen him on the court in a while.  Or maybe some joke about the bench being made of steel, maybe kobe can get some minutes there ;)

This is one of the worst NBA rosters I've ever seen and that's before all the injuries. 

Kobe is the only real, consistent, proven talent they have.

It was funny - last night I remember the game is on (I'm watching SOA) and I go to nba.com - The top story is "Lakers down, but Kobe about to re-enter the game!" 

haha... opening night of the NBA season and an aging star possibly going into a 30 point blowout is the top news story.
I guess love him or hate him, Kobe is the biggest star of the game.

I think the team will give Scott a longer leash then they did with Mike Brown.  This time around they know they have zero talent and are in full on rebuilding mode.

Seeing Kobe call Dwight a bitch ass guy makes me very happy.  Fuck him.

Rebuilding and then some, I predict 28 wins maximum this year, and that's only if kobe is healthy.

Ok, lakers gave away many draft picks thanks to the great steve nash, if they get first pick this year does that go to them or to whomever

I don't have much to say about kobe vs howard, it was a such a little thing that happens every game, its a big deal cause other then randle going snap crackle and pop their was nothing else to report.
