I think in 1987.......no clue what he did after that as far as training.

He probably smartened up and quit unlike us meatheads!  :D

hey, I quit after every show I did!!   that's why I only competed every two or three years.

Personally I never cared about competing.I'm just a big strong guy who likes to lift heavy weights.

CF was a crazy bastard. Trained at Pearls when I was a kid. Mooned the judges at the Mr. America and got disqualified.

good call dan lurie also was second three years in a row in the mr a. always wondered if dan lurie lost his cuts because he became the seakltest strongman on tv and one of the perks was all the free ice cream he wanted.....

that's strange because i just read about guys at this one gym getting wide shoulders because it had a low ceiling and they had to do shoulder presses seated, makes sense  you get little push from the legs seated giving more of the emphasis to the shoulders when pressing.
