From what we know, Ronnie beat Ronnie, but Jay took the win. And I think Ronnie has a slight bad taste in his mouth due to that.
And let's all face it, after Jay won, it all went down hill from there. We all have said it. Jay was not a worthy successor. Dorian was a worthy successor to Lee Haney, and Ronnie was a worthy successor to Dorian. And then we get Jay, he of the wrinkly, less detailed back. Haney, Dorian, and Ronnie were all known for their back thickness and detail. And what is funny, is that Jay had a better back in 2001-2002 than he did when he won the Mr. O.

He out classed Ronnie in 2001 , Ronnie got lucky by ' beating ' him in this contest. I doesn't matter if your prefer Ronnie's look Jay beat him soundly at the prejudging in 2001 and 99.9% of the time that is where the contest was won and the night show was just for the fans.

Ronnie has this reputation of being this unbeatable juggernaut during his reign and in fact he was no where near as dominate as Haney or Dorian.

But Ronnie's attitude about it stinks. he won it eight times, some years with a belly that is one of the nastiest of all time. "Big nasty."

Jay got beaten by The Shrimp but he was graceful about it, but it must have been though getting bested by the guy that you helped.

From that vid I didn't see it. Especially from the back. One can make the argument that Jay held his own from the front, but he didn't from the back.
