that's what i thought at first but he goes extremely heavy for his last couple of sets, he just takes an EXTREMELY long time to warm up, he does 3 45's and a bunch of tens on each side for his last set of presses, they were half reps and they were heavily spotted but that's still crazy weight.

Has he ever had any injuries to his shoulders? Surgery, therapy etc? If not or even if he has, this is probably the reason why the injury hasn't flared up or why he has been injury free.

he probably has the typical nagging pain most of these guys get from training heavy for years, like i said it takes him about 7-8 sets to warm up but eventually he puts almost 400 pounds on the bar for his presses.

He doesn't have much time on this Earth left my man, we should all start sending him cards and "get well soon" emails....we should probably start a donation page to make his last days bearable....a few shots of Test and Deca will help nub the pain.

The heavy breathing is due to smoking....He isnt fat, its just the fat distribution is notable on his neck and chin....He is so huge that it looks like he has problems just moving from one side of the room to the next....

Like I said before my man, his time with us on this earthly plane is quite limited. With a lifestyle like his, one could expect a quick death.

Bad pic. He just looks a bit fatter (though he'd still be relatively lean) and is tired after doing a heavy set. If some of you actually worked out hard you might find that sweating, shortness of breath and possibly going a bit red in the face may occur.
Im not saying that Ruhl is the picture of health, but all of you are going on like he will be dead in the next few months. Ruhl seems like he was a pretty cool guy and pretty down to earth. Saying he will be dead soon isn't cool.

Yes, as long as he is "cool" and a "good man" then everyone should support him and look past his obvious health problems. He doesnt even respect his own body, why should we?
