When i was a bouncer i brought an overdosed junkie back to life (no pulse) before the ambulance arrived.

Stopped someone from killing herself with pills.

Disarmed a crazy person before he stabbed a guy. (I can't know if anyone would had died)...

Yeah he probably would had survived, but to the best of my knowledge people don't like to be stabbed.

yes while it is unlikely to die from a knife attack it is common to have lasting injuries and organ impairment
