Absolutely, I think if you work for a company turning a profit on your labor, your literal life force
You as a laborer should get a larger payout.

What's an appropriate wage for fast food workers? When is it enough? 150k+?

This won't matter all that much. They will just fire workers and either 1) make less workers work harder or 2) bring in robots.

Whatever, they should get some meaningful bonus or some sort of profit sharing off the franchise’s profit at the end of the fiscal year.

What convinced all of you to show solidarity with owners instead of workers?

False premise.

A workers’ best protection is having options. Advocating a policy that drives restaurants out of business is anti-worker.

It isn't about solidarity with owners. Why should fast food workers have a different minimum wage than other workers? What about gas station cashiers, janitors, etc.?

How about free small fries once a week or at Wendy's a small Frosty?

What if the franchise loses money? Do they give back their salary?

Socialist act as though profits are a given when in reality they’re hard to come by.

Let’s take it up. You raise the minimum to 20.00 it has to be passed on to the consumer to cover the costs of doing business this includes all over head. Restaurants being fast food or otherwise run on small profit margins as it is. And with part of that profit margin is the reinvestment for growth. How does growth happen with prices are too high, consumers drop? What do you think the eventual end results will be?

That was already the case, have you been to a cvs? A whole foods? They’re already replacing people withself checkouts while simultaneously increasing prices.

Just curious, at what point does the headache, sleepless nights and financial exposure by the owner get  capped money wise and the rest given to the workers?

Ohh is that's why costs have been passed down to the working class?  because of min wages? the fed min wage hasnt been raised since 2009, that must mean no costs have been pushed on the working class.

Fast food jobs (minimum wage jobs) are entry level jobs usually used as a stepping stone for teenagers starting out in the workforce not meant to be full time positions.

The minimum wage in California in 2022 was raised to $15 then in January of 23’ the wage went to 15.50. For the most part the quality of the food and services has declined while the cost of a fast food meal has gone up. At least if you’re going to absurdly raise the wage, you have to increase the quality of the food and better train the employees.

Good.  When are you giving your employees a raise? What are your company’s profit margins and how much of that should be devoted to blue collar wages?

I work for a startup where everyone gets equity in the company,  there's 401k match and profit sharing bonus.

hmm, was that the start of the decline? food service/quality wasn't on the decline way before that?  companies didn't switch to idk frozen low quality meat filled with preservatives before 2022
