This is true to a point, but I think it's more along the lines of what happened in Japan.

So, what's the secret?
It's not some kinda magic.
What you don't do you right swipe a 100 of the hottest women on there and hope one matches you. Good chance they'll all left swipe you and the apps algo will put you in the shit list.
You get a fresh, unused account. Only use it in one location, so at home or work. Set your search parameters to find only women within 1 mile or 1km. Do this carefully as they also have an option to show results outside these parameters that you want to avoid.
Now left swipe all of them until the app can't find you anyone in that radius. Log in periodically and left swipe anyone within that 1m/km radius. You will now be able to see the woman who want to match you as their distance will show up as further than a mile away. Match them and steadily you'll build an account with a high match rate. The algo will now deem you worthy and then that should get even more eyes on your account. If you wanna pay for an upgrade it will get even more eyes.
Goes without saying you need to be at least slightly photogenic to start with and living in a large city helps.

What we don’t know is what percentage of women in their 40’s are single and childless. Is it a large number or a minority?

They are often the ones that, in order to get respect from other males will go the steroids route to get even "bigger" attempting to cure their insecurity , but being natural not being "enough", they still feel "too small", insecure, amongst other males. The lack of a father figure also often means they didn't have guidance to continue studies and are often working shitty manual jobs.

If he did, then he works for the association of which I am a member. I am sure he is not FitnessFrenzy. It was taken at a Northwest Oregon Labor Council meeting several years ago. All of us at the table were delegates. The photo was also posted on Facebook by the person who took it.

This is true to a point, but I think it's more along the lines of what happened in Japan.
It's become more difficult for young men to level up (move out of home, become financially independent, live alone etc etc) so they just don't bother trying to deal with reality and adult life. This includes women and sex too.
