-
Have you tired it?
no, it's wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy beyond what i can do. ::)
-
I think your wieghts amounts are off, surely no pro would do just 135 for front and back squats , use massive 20s for lunges and two plates on a leg press.... hahahaha

it was on his latest Fit Show video, you can get to it from the News and Gossip page off the main getbig menu.

There's no time for that, I've got to get cracking with the 20lb lunges if I want to fill my new jeans!!!
-
why are you so concerned about what milos is using for weight? His legs are way bigger than yours will ever be.

That's actually not as easy as it sounds.
That shit right there would humble just about anyone. :-\
EDIT:
I've done leg workouts like the one above.
It usually takes me 11/2 hours to do legs. But on a day like the one above, I've finished in about 20 mins. But let me tell you, the pain in unbearable. And no, I could not handle my usual weights.
-
so it's painful. but so is going to the dentist and that doesnt build muscle mass either
-
Maybe Milos rejects the fact that big weights build big muscle? and is it a fable like milking the lizard causes blindness?
-
great bumb i thought squadfather would go senile again and ask the same question twice
-
maybe this routine does not give the same results without drugs?
-
they are awesome workouts, but you still need to go heavy sometimes. Need to switch up the workouts
-
maybe it gives an even better result ?
-
::)
-
maybe milos doesnt have enough weights in his gym to go heavy?
-
I don't believe those claims - they are too high!
-
maybe milos doesnt have enough weights in his gym to go heavy?
LOL
-
maybe gravity is 3 times stronger in Milos' gym so 135lbs is like 405?
-

There's an inverse relationship in weightlifting. Supersetting, or in this case Giant Sets, are a perfect example of this. You cannot continue to you use your usual weights like you would for straight sets, that you would for Giant Sets.
One could describe this phenomenon, but it would just be ridiculed by our infamous Squaddy.
-
supersets are for superfags

"Squad"...are you bored again and have nothing else to do but try to emberress yourself time after time again...?
My "brutal" giant set is something I would prescribe you as a "medicine" to get you in shape FOR ONCE IN YOUR LIFE....
Loose the ego and stop looking at how many plates are on the bar or a machine...Start thinking WHAT YOU CAN DO with whatever amount of weight in any particular excercise...and soon enough you'll realize that you can make 135 lbs as heavy as 500...IF YOU KNOW WHAT BODYBUILDING IS ALL ABOUT...
Anyway, I would AGAIN extend the invitation and offer you pretty much as much money as you would ask for as a bet that you could not finish A SINGLE ROTATION the way I do it...Now - if that is 'super slow"...rest-pause...half up and freeze...half down and freeze...stop on every 2 inches...or WHATEVER ELSE...you would have to do the same weight...same exercise and exactly the same weight...and IF YOU DO - you could make yourself RICH... ::) but also...BROKE - as I would LOVE TO COLLECT MONEY and give to GETBIG CHERITY to "loose your ego and start making gains bodybuilding community'...
Oh...HAVE A NICE DAY TOO...I don't want to 'fight' with you...and insted just give you FRIENDLY ADVICE... 8)
And speaking of LEGS...did you ever consider changing your user name to "The Squatfeather"...?

I think its mindbogling how you see people with smooth legs, not too big ...lifting a ton then you have someone like Milos with Tree Trunk Legs, cut as hell doing small weights...Id rather not lift heavy and have Milos legs.

The greatest challenge in the history of Bodybuilding...... 8)
Squadfather vs. Milos Sarcev giants sets....
i believe bodybuilding.com will make a live webcast from Fullerton/CA. ::)
P.S. i have no doubt that Milos Preparation Routine is very hard to take....If Proffessionell Bodybuilders, who trained hard, heavy, intense, volume-rich,....
said "it really hurts, and the pain is beyond what people think", so it would easily to hard for the "average Gym-Member"...
But anyhow, Milos also said that this training is a specific Training for Preparation
to get ready for a BB-Contest.....and he also won`t prescribe it for "Year-Round-Training".
-
And as a side event, I can have a greeco roman wrestling match with Milimar!
-
I am dissappointed Milos did not offer Squadfather paid air flight and room & board to visit his gym and try the workout.
Milos, Squadfather's endorsement would be well worth the money, because God knows your credibility around here is suffering especially since the 'snake oil' debacle and the Team Nasser interview Part II. ;)
-
useless crap. just because you get a hell of a pump doesnt mean you grow from it ::)
-
milos, when you started as a bodybuilder, did you build your legs through traditional methods, or did you use supersets way back then?
-
This thread is like a year old...
-
Maybe Milos rejects the fact that big weights build big muscle? and is it a fable like milking the lizard causes blindness?
Maybe all of you reject the fact that "big weights" term is RELATIVE...
I choose the weight ACCORDINGLY and IT IS ALWAYS A "BIG WEIGHT" (meaning as heavy as needed to cause trouble performing certain number of reps /usually 10/ considering TECHNIQUE used in particular exercise...)
Most of "my athletes" increased size of their lacking bodyparts (whatever those might be...) AFTER I REDUCED considerably amount of weight they were using while training that bodypart...
Experienced lifters will know how to make 135 lbs feel like 500 lbs...AS I SAID...
So, to emphasize again: I am NOT suggesting LIGHT WEIGHT...Hell no!...I am just being realistic with expectations as I am quite experienced in giant sets...
Maybe few people from here attending my seminar could confirm THAT DURING THE SEMINAR'S GIANT SETS SEGMENT - they experienced shocking surprise realizing that 6 pound dumbbells - (well RED and not appropriately PINK...) were IMPOSSIBLE TO LIFT FOR designed 10 repetition protocol...
ANYWAY...I just thought of something and I will gladly offer: we can make GETBIG, BODYBUILDING.COM, ENTER THE MIND, FLEXONLINE, MD...BOARD DAY in my Koloseum gym (once a week, twice a month...once a month? Doesn't matter...) and I will design giant sets for each bodypart and have 5-10 people try it to complete...
It could be done very easily...
If there are only 5-10 guys (and/or tuff girls) total and they prefer that I also train with them - we can do that...One body part (lets start with LEGS exactly...) and see how you guys like it.
I would not do it as a 'challenge' to prove anyone wrong...but as the opportunity to open your mind to NUMEROUS POSSIBILITIES this fabulous style of training can bring...
And...YES...I am serious...
Also - we can always bring FITSHOW...or Bob Chick...or ESPN ::)...
-

shorter rest sets= greater gh +test response
more lactic acid build-up= greater gh +test response+ more muscle fiber damage
higher intensity workout= greater gh +test response+more muscle fiber damage
more volume= greater gh +test response +more muscle fiber damage
more sweating= greater gh +test response
these are the facts of the case, your honor.
Milo's is dead on the money.
and why should any of you have doubted thi to begin with? he looks better than everysingle one of you, and not only is he repsonsible for his own physique, but that of counteless professional bodybuilders who all look better than you as well.

well if he is right and you do all this then why dont you look better than all of us ::)
-
your argument is flawed...
for it to make sense it would have to be fact that we were all the same age, had the same genetics, same diet, same amount of years lifting, and the same consistancy in the gym.
but me and you and everyone else all have differing ages, differing genetics, different diets, different amounts of years lifting, and varying amounts of dedication to the sport.
the reason why i dont look like milos(and better than all of you)? differing age, differing genetics, differing diet, differing years lifting, different STARTING POINT.
stop being such a dipshit...needing an 18 year old know-it-all who-knows-nothing to explain everything out for you... :)

Oh YEAH...I would prescribe it for "Year-Round"...and what's more to some even for (GET THIS:) "Life-Round"...
Yes, I am serious again...and I could explain IN MY SEMINAR...as I have no time now...but in short: ask yourself...If you are able to complete whatever STRAIGHT SET with whatever weight, set, reps, bodypart, technique, tempo...etc...and that was the hardest set you ever did...would resting after the set be harder or easier than maybe changing the exercise and upon completion of that "BEST SET EVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVER" (make sure you read this with Brats accent) immediately starting lifting in superset fashion similar exercise for the same muscle group (not exceeding 10 seconds between the sets)...and than immediately upon finishing that second exercise move to third...fourth....fourth y fourth...
Accept no limitations as limitation (as Bruce Lee preached and I deeply believe in it) and you'll realize that ONLY due to weakness of others we think like "others" (Hmmm - should we called them Sissies? ;D)...and draw the limit lines WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY BELOW our potential...
If you do something - do it 100% or don't even bother...(that's the attitude of the champions and winners in life...) so IF you start thinking of EVERY EXCUSE in a book [ISBN:0-133567459773, Author: The Squadfather, Title: "Lift Heavy or Stay home...and realize heavy weights hurt - so mind as well stay at home and get fat..." bestseller available at www.amazon.com...Mention this thread and receive 15% OFF coupon...well - not for a book but a liposuction...at whatever clinic....but let's get back to the point...)
GIANT SETS are ULTIMATE TEST of INTENSITY as you could think of THE MOST INTENSE TRAINING EVER...pardon - EVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVER...an d when you proudly want to compare it to my giant sets - you should realize that I would take THAT TRAINING only as the starting point and ADD TO IT...in the form of giant sets - making it even more intense...off course.)
Certainly, this kind of training is demanding and very few people could train for prolonged period of time whit this kind of intensity...but those are simply MORTALS...
I am talking about selected few who KNOW BETTER...that all of us INDIVIDUALLY are responsible for our own personal LIMITATIONS, beliefs and expectations....and those selected few DO NOT EVER LOOK FOR EXCUSES (reasons WHY we SHOULDN'T do something) ooops it should have been EVVVVVVVVVVVVER...(it makes the story more interesting to a the outside listener) rather THEY (US off course...) ARE LOOKING FOR SOLUTIONS (how to do the best possible job, in the best possible time, with the best possible results...best, best, best...best...and evvvvvvvver!)
OK - before I would be accused to be "under the influence"....I must say that I am: 43% drug free - and that is my BEST EVVVVER.
OK#2 - now I really have to go to work...which is bummer...but than again - depends how you look at it...For some of us that...oh..OK...see you later guys...
Did I say: I LOVE YOU ALL?
Well: LOV'YALLLLLLLL ;)
Life is a beautiful thing...don't you think?

This thread is like 10 months old ::)
Squadfather is now a milos guy
-
damn milos on a good one today :)
-
I'm pretty damn sure Milos has done his fair share of very heavy straight set training over the years as well. Even experienced trainers sometimes forget what it was that gave them most of their gains.
I don't think anyone would realize their size potential doing giant sets with "low loads", no matter how "brutal" they felt. If you never squat more than 135, forget about hitting your size potential.
-

it was on his latest Fit Show video, you can get to it from the News and Gossip page off the main getbig menu.
Squab...Seriously..Why are you knocking the Pro's ? You and Milos juice... You move mountains and run countless miles ..Yet you barely look better than Vince... Milos lifts light, does countless reps, and look's like you wish you could look like ... HMMM??

If you want to die of a heartattack in your fifties i would advise milos giant set regimen. One heavy ass set is much harder then this light weight sets. Ive catched a cold and i do high reps now. LEts face it lightweight is comfort, no matter how hard you try to make it.
And milos i thaught ou were smarter then this, you say that you can make a 135 lbs squat as hard as a 500 lbs squat. Thats really dumb, cause you cant, never. Thats like sayin 50 reps benchpress with 100 lbs is like 1 rep with 5000 lbs on the benchpres.

You, my keyboard warrior acquaintance, are truly an idiot. From contradicting yourself numerous times, to reading between words and thinking Milos said one thing when in reality he said another. ::)
Go back and tidy up on your intelligence prior to posting again. >:(
-
Milos is right, it's all about how you do the exercise.
SF I could show you a squat with no added weight that I guarantee you couldn't even do for a single rep.

If you ever want to get anywhere in bodybuilding, I suggest you do not listen to this halfwit.
Heavy weight is comfort, there is comparitively very little lactic acid buildup. Giant sets like these really, really hurt and test you.

well your post isnt much better. bodybuilding isnt about lactic acid tolerance. you dont have lie on the floor whimpering from insane amounts of lactic acid inorder to workout hard (bodybuilding isnt tour de france). specially not when your doing a set of 135lb squats as exercise number 8 of a insane ten exercise giant set combo....its useless..the weights have become so small its better to do regular straight sets with much heavier weights.
doing 20 reps squats or something like that can be good to tho...(from time to time)

if you know so much about training why aren't you big and ripped?

I'd like to see Milos' bullshit training drug free.
Every damn bit of advice he gives on this site assumes one being drugged up.
-
if you know so much about training why aren't you big and ripped?
he is busy making up excuses instead of getting under the squat bar and trying to increase his poundages from workout to workout (or at least progressively increase the weights) using a normal 3-4 sets of squats with maybe 5-20 reps (whatever rep range you like).
instead they try to make up various hocus pocus routines consisting of one legged squats supersetted with god knows what.
-
Squad why the turnaround??? Where you getting tired of not being the JERK you used to be?? ::)
-
I'd like to see Milos' bullshit training drug free.
Every damn bit of advice he gives on this site assumes one being drugged up.
exactly, the guys who train with milos and get results are getting results despite his bullshit routines..thanks to the drugs.
milos routines are -5......drugs are +10 = + 5 (but its the drugs that create the results)
with a proper routine these guys would get:
+5 (from proper routine) + 10 (from drugs) = 15 (better of without milos and using a normal training routine)
what i suspect milos does is he puts em on insane amouns of steroids + the athletes dont really give a shit about his routines, they just want to use him to promote themselves. they use milos as a way into the bb spotlight.
-
Squad why the turnaround??? Where you getting tired of not being the JERK you used to be?? ::)
it's not a turnaround, someone bumped a year old thread, look at the original date at the top of the thread.

Read the post I'm answering. Specifically the bit where he clearly says that one heavy set is harder than lots of light. Then go back and consider what I'm saying. Yes, thats right, I'm not ranking lactic acid buildup as the gauge of a good set. Just pain.
Anybody who is ignorant enough to think that heavy sets hurt more than a lactic acid burning giant sets obviously shouldn't be listened to.

high reps hurt no doubt about that. but pain is not necessarily = muscle growth
el mariarchi doesnt know shit about working out. i agree with you on that.

Lots of pros say this, how you can make 10 pound dumbell feel like a 50 pound dumbell for example, but no one REALLY believes that, or else they would just stay with those small weights. Why risk injury with "heavy" weights when you don't have to? Why have I seen training articles and footage of Milos squatting some 600lbs+? They don't really believe they can get all the benefits of weight training by those comparatively light loads.
I'm sure Milos' routines work well on those who already have most of their potential mass from more orthodox lifting. These depletion sets cause sarcoplasmic growth, especially when combined with the drugs like insulin.

There is no "but" necessary here. I never made that claim.
Consider increasing your reading comprehension skills to mitigate the fact that you're clearly overkeen to disagree with people. Admit when you've made a mistake and then you won't have to make imbecilic, obvious comments to reassert you know something ::)

epic overanalyzing. ::)
no mistake made as the point is milos workouts are bullshit, as been explained in my posts.
-
You know what it is? I remember one time i did reverse hacksquats''flex wheeler style'' with 200 pounds i wanted to go to 40 reps set. On rep 31 it wasnt about a leg workout anymore, you tax the whole god damn body and brain to the max, i got a big ass headache from it for a whole week. Thats a workout that you can compare to the milos principles, and he advises this as a life-time training. If your human and natural lifter you will end up in te hospital with these technique's. Train smart.

Your point to me, that is directed at me, was that I was talking shit, which I was not. If you'd have just admitted that you were misguided I'd believe that I was overanalyzing, but anybody can go back and see you're unable to do that :)
-
if you know so much about training why aren't you big and ripped?
because I'm natural and it is impossible to be big and ripped as a natural.

how come you're neither one though?

not really, you have a little definition but no striations or veins anywhere, no offense.

Fat father,
so you are now a "born again" bodybuilder?
support the sport?

how could you possibly know how I look, a better question is why does it even matter?
Surely my BF levels would not be effected by anaerobic exercise, and even less likely would they be effected by my knowledge of it. The only relevance my BF has to anything is that it's the first thing you thought of to direct the conversation away from the information I introduced that shows your criticism of Milos is misguided.
Distraction is a good tactic (albeit a bit womanly for someone who prides himself on being a MANLY MAN) and it's smart to target my appearance, because I'm obviously preoccupied by it or I wouldn't be here.
But getting back to the topic at hand: FORM IS AS IMPORTANT AS WEIGHT. If you know how to manipulate form there is no need for external weight.Which means that a squat with proper form can require more strength than a squat with 1000lbs. If you doubt me and are confident that I'm wrong we can put money on it.

if you feel defeated by reality than you should kill yourself because the universe is not about to change.

I'm not the one that has given up on being big and ripped, you are. You should tie a couple of 45lb plates to your feet and hang yourself.
You were defeated by your beliefs as soon as you convinced yourself they couldn't be changed.

FORM AS IMPORTANT AS WEIGHT? yes and no......form is important, but you cant become too obsessed about it and sacrafice too much weight. sure if you lift too sloppy you can get injured...but you dont get big with super slow "correct" movements. You need to know on which movements you can be more sloppy and which you cant. for example barbell cheat curls is probably the best bicep exercises there is.
if your a natural you have to constantly try to push the poundages higher and higher on the basic exercises, that the only thing that will give you size gains in the long run.
from the sound of your posts it sounds like you are on of those guys who lift the same weight from workout to workout and from year to year and try to come up with various excuses instead of working hard on what has been proven too work time after time, heavy basic exercises that is.
-
I dunno most pro's can lift heavy but do they? I know for sure that Serge, Lee Haney, Vince, and a host of others lift maybe 40% of there max with a high set rep range. I think Haney even had some saying.... something like "It's about stimulation not annihilation". In anycase I used to lift heavy and really got little gains compared to when i reduced the weight and went for sets and reps. Everybody is different.

first of all you forget that these guys are on steroids, which will make it alot easier to gain muscle.
most pros lifted heavy when they built most of their size, then after years of training and fucking up joints they have to lower weights abit.
also heavy is a relative term.
you still need to get progessively stronger using whatever rep range you choose.

dude you've posted clips of yourself on youtube and you've posted pictures and like i said for a guy who brags on his condition you have what looks like 11 percent bodyfat or so, not flaming here but just being honest, i saw no striations or veins anywhere.

Hi Dave had a good sleep tonight?

reverse hack squats? c'mon now......
stick to the fucking basics and stop acting like you know shit, you're posts are terrible and I almost NEVER say that about anyone but you are very annoying at this point and you don't know a fucking thing about anything BB related.

how many do you think uday raped?
-
exactly, the guys who train with milos and get results are getting results despite his bullshit routines..thanks to the drugs.
milos routines are -5......drugs are +10 = + 5 (but its the drugs that create the results)
with a proper routine these guys would get:
+5 (from proper routine) + 10 (from drugs) = 15 (better of without milos and using a normal training routine)
what i suspect milos does is he puts em on insane amouns of steroids + the athletes dont really give a shit about his routines, they just want to use him to promote themselves. they use milos as a way into the bb spotlight.
;D ;D ;D
My guys take 1/3rd or even less than "others"...and I posted here on GETBIG my normal cycles and recommendations...Off course - nobody believes that...

"Uday used devices of torture deriving from the Middle Ages. One of them was a 20 kg (50 lb) black iron mask in which his players were to stand up straight with in the sun for the entire day after having performed poorly in a game (the players would faint after less than an hour and be awakened by kicks of Uday's guards). Another was a pear-shaped iron tool with two handles, similar to a car jack, which he would use to tear a man's anus open"
;D

hahaha @ come to see me and I'll show you 13 years of my journals and programs I've designed for others...
Everyone in the IFBB knows that Milos's guys DON'T TAKE MUCH...and amounts I've posted but gh15 and others DO NOT BELIEVE I AM TELLING THE TRUTH...
Now, everything else here on board - I can somehow understand...In short: stupid is what stupid does...and believes...off course...
But, as I publicly say that I was using steroids and few other choice of hormones - HOW AND WHY
would I lie about amounts?
What sense does that make?
I see when many "so called naturals" make drug-free statements - out of embarrassment (still looking drug-free while taking higher amounts of drugs than IFBB pros), or because they have to (numerous reasons...)...but WHY WOULD I - trainer of many champions LIE ABOUT IT?
Can someone give me rationale?
-

This email to Patrick Arnold is quite telling IMO :D
In a February 2000 e-mail exchange with Arnold, Sarcev expressed interest in designer supplements and diuretics for an imminent competition.
"Let me know where to send money, gold or kidneys," Sarcev replied after Arnold quoted him a price of 100 dollars a gram for "miracle stuff" called Norbolethone.
"I can over night it." Sarcev offered himself as "a good guinea pig" because he had "tried everything" and added he worked "with many other monkeys (that would like to become gorillas)."

HAHAHAHAHA, holy shit. :o

honest question then:
do you put any "true naturals" through this type of routine? I mean guys that are really natural, not taking only GH or insulin or a small amount of test, I mean someone who doesn't touch the stuff?
I'm just wondering....
-
but WHY WOULD I - trainer of many champions LIE ABOUT IT?

because it sounds more impressive for you to say the drugs are only a small portion of your clients successes
and that the success was all due to giant sets and pre, during, post workout shakes
hope this helps

Milos keeps journals like he is some movie star or famous politician, like future generations are going to read his journals to learn about his fascinating life eating chicken breasts and tunafish. ::)
I have an idea pulverize the journals and add to his drinks... :D

I didn't directly work with Milos, but I did give giant sets an honest try for 12 weeks or so. I'm completely natural, no AAS, gh or insulin.
It's very intense.
