Jay has made lots of money from being in cahoots with those crooks at MuscleTech. Yeah, yeah, yeah ... It's just good business sense ... But when did integrity and character lose its worth?

All jokes aside, obvious implants or synthol should be penalized by the jury...not kidding.

So what we need is objective judging....did I hear that one before ?

I hope someone who knows Jay passes this on to him.

I've loved bodybuilding  since I was a teen and followed it through the 90's into the 2000's.  As a young teen I was fooled by the drug use in bodybuilding as was a wrestling fan who thought the WWF was real.  I bought every supplement from every ad and followed every FLEX magazine workout religiously but never looked close to any of your guys in the mags.  Dan Duchaine really opened my eyes as did Craig Titus about drug use in bodybuilding.  I always admired guys from Arnold to Lou to Flex and you, although over time I lost a lot of respect for Flex due to his suspect calves and implant or oil use..  I followed your career from early on and knew one day you'd be Mr. Olympia.

Fast forward to today.  I still thought of you as one of the good guys in the IFBB.  A hard working blue collar guy who got to the top through perseverance, blood and sweat.  I'm not naive to realize that there are a lot of bodybuilders with suspect body parts that were most likely filled with synthol, seo or other crap.  I never suspected you'd be as stupid as the others to use it.  What I saw on Friday has forever changed my opinion of you.  Just as I had lost all respect for Flex, I have lost all respect for you.  You should be ashamed of yourself for even stepping on stage with that injection welt on your arm and then making up phony lies as to how it happened.  Sure you can convince most of your followers that cell-tech will make them win Mr. Olympia but your lie about your arm shows how little respect you have for your fans and for fans of bodybuilding in general.  You were once thought of as an ambassador to the sport but now you are just a liar and cheat like the rest of them.  The fact that you couldn't build decent biceps over the last 20 years of bodybuilding and resorted to injecting oil into them the day of a contest is just pathetic.

I hope that you never set foot on stage again and I hope your sponsors drop you as soon as possible.  People claim that someone like Kai will never win because of his checkered past and that sponsors don't want him because of it would demonstrate what hypocrites they are if they keep on sponsoring you after the most egregious display I have ever seen by a Mr. Olympia winner.   You have lost all respect from me and hopefully many others who you have condescended with your idiotic lies.

gayer than.......

No but seriously it might be a tear. look at the gap between shoulder and bicep in some pics. I will agree that the bicep looks very swolen in some pics though, especially in the fdb. Might be from blood collecting there from the tear. dunno.. Just saying..

not a tear ,, its seo done wrong ,, seo water based

There would be know Pro bodyb uilding without steroids! unfortunately as the years progressed so did the drug technology. Jay is just keeping up with what the others are doing. Nobody is perfect and every bodybuilder is looking for the hot new drug. sad but true

He was penalised - he lost his title as a result. Trouble is, was he penalised enough? Dropping him down to fourth or fifth would have sent a message.

LOL @ "would have sent a message".

I guess Jay will be more careful with site injections, what other "message" would he get?

2nd or 5th place, doesn't matter if you were Mr O before.

Blame the ifbb and the judging. They are the ones who want this look and have the power to change it but they dont.  Ironically if Jay publicly announced what oil he injects in there the judges would not give him good placings. See fella it's all about secrecy. Do it but dont admit it or get caught. Plus his endorsement contracts would drop him if he admitted oil use.

5th place would have been a hell of a lot more embarrassing for Jay and his record - usually when current Mr Olympia gets beat the first year, they just get given 2nd place by default. This happened to him before, same with Ronnie. It shouldn't be that way - Jay should have been given fourth or fifth for displaying the physique that he did.

This, right here.

The argument that the judges can only judge what is in front of them is nonsense. Not everyone looks like a bloated mess.

The judges ought to be looking for the 'perfect' physique, not the freakiest physique.

God of da hormonas:

You say itīs impossible for a 5.9 dude to have 22 inch arms. Agree there offcourse. But you said Big Ron DID HAVE PURE MUSCLE in his arms. No way compare his arms 2002 with 2003. In 2002 something went wrong and they look alot smaller than usual. Maybe he does nolotil, site injects some crap but i donīt think he relies on it like Jay seems to have done forever... I always wondered how the hell Jay could do 1000 of injects in his arms delts, etc without it getting so obvious as this weekend... Do you guys have a doc or someone else doing the injects with insulin needels or what?

The problem is, the scorecards don't reflect why he was given 2nd and not 5th or 6th. Was his mass enough to compensate for his lack of proportion? What value is given to the various components in the criteria?

Of course, you don't have to break it down to unecessary details but you need something in order to make it look accountable and transparent.

I think Mon_of_Steel is just shocked that the sport is f#cked... From top to bottom; it's a disgrace. He thought some guys knew better than to shamelessly advertise/display the fact that they have "foreign material" in their biceps! I think he would've just rather had Jay not step onstage in that state. Just bow out of show before prejudging.

But Jay stepped onstage, he put himself in a position where he felt the need to lie. Jay was afraid of what people would think if he told the truth. So he tried to hide the truth. The lie he told was insulting to our intelligence. So yes; Jay's reputation took a hit. People loss some respect for him.

Its good that it happened!!! It shows how the sport truly is.... Even at the top. It's f#cked up.

2008 Ms. International, Iris Kyle was dropped to 7th place for suspicious lumps.  Jay should have had a similar fate.

Don't get me wrong.  I know about drug use and such and learned it years ago and learned a lot from your posting.  When I was a teen I didn't know better.  But I do know about synthol and seo and that "everyone does it", but didn't really think everyone did actually do it.  Yes you can easily pick out a lot of the guys that did, but for some reason I thought higher of Jay and didn't think he would be such a cheat and liar.  For some reason I thought of him as one of the good guys.  Sure I know he may take 1 gram test EOD, 15 IU GH daily, META and such, but everyone does and you can't be a competitor if you did not.  But this oil int he bicep thing just pissed me off.  That is what tier two guys need to do to compete with the best. The best shouldn't have to take that shit.

Sure 22 inch arms on a 5'9" guy is not common, but GH15, he's been hormonized for over 20 years now, you'd think over that time even if he put on 2/10 of an inch per year that he'd get there without needing oil.  It's just sad he had to do this and then display it to the world and follow up with blatant lies like we are idiots.
