I'm expecting any minute now Amazon.com will mandate a policy that requires 3 pieces of identification and background checks for all pressure cooker purchases.   And nails sold at Home Depot to now be sold in lots of no more than 10.

Never owned one.  Could it be used as a pressure fryer?  That would be handy.

Isn't the US's attitude toward this is that no one should have them but us?  I wonder though how many countries have had them just sitting there ready to be launched then one day they try and nothing happens.

it would be too hard to regulate the temp for frying.  Pressure fryers like the ones at KFC have a temp regulator.
