There isn't any highways or anything like that going through DWG it's just a little town within Arlington. There's really only a couple main roads that he was probably driving on and both of them have are basically just schools, churches and some shopping centers. Alot of people crossing the street also. All the roads also have a stop light or stop sign every 1/8th of a mile or so. I can understand a person who has never been thru DWG getting a speeding ticket......MAYBE.

But for a guy who has lived in the Arlington for well over a decade....knows about their police staff, knows what kinda operation they run over there......and then to pretend to be a police officer on top of all that, when the officers probably knew exactly who he was from the very beginning..... I just don't get it.

While you might argue that the speed limit is arbitrary (it isn't btw), this has jack-all to do with infringement of civil rights. If we were talking patriot act, then yes. Disobeying the speed limit = stupid, first it's easily quantifiable, just look at your speedometer, so no interpretation or judgement comes into play. Secondly, if you're the odd one out people will have greater difficulties in judging your speed and increasing risk of accidents. Thirdly greater speed means larger distance travelled in reaction time + larger breaking distance.

if you look above this post youll see that i dont think a speed limit is a bad law. its a public road and its for use of all people and a speed limit is necessary to protect the safety of innocents.

i was addressing the statement "a law is a law"... (the idea that we should follow every law no matter what)

anyway, i a better law would take into account personal driving skills and road conditions and the cars performance abilites etc.. but sadly this is most likely never going to be feasible

It has nothing to do with interpretation/justification of laws. There are a bunch of dumb laws most of us don't agree with. The fact is though that they exist and we know them.  I could safely drive twice the speed limit of most American roads. The fact is though that he was speeding and he tried to wiggle out of a small offence by pretending to be a police officer - a serious offence.

I know you stole that money for coke, took it in the ass and already are on large amounts of muscle drugs and rec stuff. Obviously, for you, a lot of laws suck but ultimately they are there to give the world some kind of order. If you break them, accept the consequences no matter how much they suck. Certainly don't impersonate an officer to get a pass.

What car was he driving when he was pulled over...And is he still a reserve officer...did he retire? I think there is some bad reporting going on down there (as typical of Texas, or the Northern part of Mexico as they want to call it)

But yet you've been juicing like crazy for a long, long time now and won't post a picture after posting many before. Clearly you do not have good genetics and, crucially, a poor genetic response to steroids. Otherwise the pics would be BOOMING across the board and you'd be owning left right and center!

Cops are hypocrites.

for example: lets say he sees some dude parked in an handicaped spot. he will give him a ticket.
2 hours later, he see some dude parked in an handicaped spot but he realise that's one of his
friend's car. he won't give him shit.

how can you "chose" who is wrong and who is right.
if you are a cop, you should treat everyone the same and lord knows it will never happen.
So cops should technically not exist.
but of course it would be chaos

why ?
my post isn't dumb at all.

Either you are a cop, and you follow the law like everybody else , or you should not be a cop.

Also, just look at how many cops break the law themself. How can one break the law, then arrest someone for doing the same thing ?

that's total bullshit

I also mean that they should apply the law to everybody else the same.
if it's a friend or family or whatever, or if it's a stranger.
they should all get arrested if they did the same infraction.

of course nobody would do that, because that's how people are.
but my point is that a police should be non-biased and they all are.

in a perfect world, policemen would be robots without emotions so they would be fair with everybody
