#1 I wouldn't have let them come to USA in the first place.  Yes, you're in a warzone over there, that sucks, but we don't have the $ and security to accept you.

#2 Maybe once you immigrate here, you agree not to travel back and forth?  Weird and tough, but limits them going back home to train, etc.

#3 Maybe IF you travel back and forth, you're monitored like crazy.  


Beyond that, I think the FBI made a HUGE mistake by having such a weak LEO presence in Boston to begin with - and by not releasing the identities 24 hours earlier.  This whole "We don't want to tip them off" gave them 24 more hours to sleep, build more bombs, etc.  

I'm not defending their beliefs in any manner - I'm just saying focusing upon that doens't help... Keeping them them $*^&^%*$ out of the USA in the first place does.

It's a war of beliefs; that day someone believed he had to kill people who were not pure enough, who were "corrupt" -not thinking the same he think, not believing the same stuff he does believe in- planted bombs, then got caught by security cameras, and society's authorities unleashed cops who had their own system of belief  to fight them because they were a threat to the survival of this society and its beliefs.

You cannot prevent people from thinking, believing, and giving a meaning to their existences. The meaning they give to their existence is accepted by the majority as long as it doesnt threat it, as long as they play the game of this society, by the rules of this society. In our modern western societies you have to study, work to earn money then you pay everything you want/can afford to reach happiness. You have to step on other people heads and as long as it works for you it's ok and you can rise in the ladder. These two dudes went completely off the hook, and wanted something else, or were convinced they couldnt make it in this world, or simply werent interested in playing that game. They wanted something else, and they thought planting bombs and killing random people who looked like the people they despised or mocked them in the past because of their tanned skin, would better the world, make it look like the world they would prefer to live in.

He was probably aiming at the good ole young white girls he wished every evening he could fuck while browsing thru a random porn website on his laptop, but knowing none of them would ever had dated him because he was muslim looking and spoke a broken english he had to have his "revenge" on them.

There is no solution, as you cant prevent people from thinking, you cant condition their upbringings, all you can control is your own existence, well, to some extent as you cant control your own upbringings, your own genetics, your parents, etc you can only decide to transform , shape it, lead it into one direction instead of another based on your own system of beliefs. We are nothing but life forms who believe in influences they dont choose, they re just randomly exposed to, and we re all struggling for survival. At some point someone gets pissed because too many people deny him/her the right to survive, so he/she either decides to kill him/herself, or, find a bullshit system of belief that will lead him/her to kill others instead of being killed by them. Christianism is a system of belief that tells you to not kill other people nor to kill yourself, but instead to work, create, build, develop, and to defend yourself and innocent ones from those who want to destroy.

All of this will continue to happen over and over again.

Our world, produces abandonned, lonely atheist kids with batshit crazy depressed single moms who allow them to have handguns in their sleeping rooms, our world produces confused, lost immigrants who never fit in their host society and at some point being sick of being rejected want to destroy it.

I don't have a problem with being required to have a permit to travel to certain countries or banning travel totally if those countries are known terrorist hotspots.
