Yeah, we've had nasty colds and allergy crap...I think she got it a little worse than me. Every night I pray I can sleep without the threat of a relentless cough ("Satan's cough" as we call it). I'm hoping by the weekend I'll be back almost 100%. Everyone around me is sick. Went to Walgreen's to restock on cold medicines and the aisles were bare and packed with people.
ya know what helps me... i sleep alone in a room with zero air conditioning. half of my prob when i have a cold, is that my nose 'snots' shut, so my throat gets raw from breathing cold air all night.
when i sleep in a warm room, i sweat out the toxins, breathe in warm air (healing the throat), and generally heal faster. I don't know why it works, and it's mad uncomfortable to wake up at 2 am soaked in sweat - but I heal a lot faster now that I do this.
