I wonder if you actually like this board and the users here (obviously not all of them) the reason I ask is, most of your posts are somewhat (maybe this is too strong of a word) negative in
regards to this community.
I just wonder do you "have" to spend time here to keep an eye on things BB related or do you actually enjoy spending time here?

I know you asked Bob, but it seemed to be an open thread, so I will chime in with my 2 cents before Bob answers.

I am NOT a close personal friend of Bob Chic and only know him from the world of bodybuilding.
Like me and other old school guys, Bob has a deep knowledge of the history of BB.
He also has a deep passion and love for the sport.
Like many here, Bob has a good sense of humor and enjoys a funny, clever post.
The problem for me and perhaps Bob, is the lack of respect many exhibit here for the sport of BB.
In a recent thread, most that post here did admit they are NOT real , serious fans of pro BB and don't respect it as much .
When you have real passion for the sport of BB , it is hard to fully respect those who don't on a BB forum

Unfortunately, the board aint what she used to be....the retards have all but ruined it for everyone. The repetition of the gay stuff, and everyone trying to be funnier than the last guy makes it intolerable at times. Even the jackasses of years ago, still had SOME sembelence of knowledge when it came to BB.

Fortunately, there is still the silent majority...and they are the reason I hang around. I gte response through email, PM, and certainly in person when I'm out around the country making appearances. They appreciate getting some knowledge, an explanation, or an opinion from me.

While I dont "have " to be here, I do so as a service of sorts and as a way of keeping in touch with the REAL BB fans that frequent the boards The dipshits will always be here, hopefully, Ron can keep them in check enough to not completely destroy the site.

Bob impresses me with his groundedness. Most pros make a post or two here, get ripped up, and leave, but he sticks around. A sign of a confident man who doesn't take himself too seriously.

I agree.I think Bob is a hell of a guy to stay around here.Im a bodybuilding fan and i appreciate his input.I personally dont really chime in on many posts because like said, the shitty comments that get threw about.I dont see why anyone not interested in this stuff would come on a board.Some people must have really boring lives to want to come on here and post stupid pics or comments about bodybuilding.I probably wouldnt even come on the site if it wasnt for the likes of Bob, and others whoa ctually give sound advice, its full of clowns, and people who probably dont even workout

It's nothing more than a soap opera for guys...one look at the amount of pages of the Mike/Laura thread should tell you that...

Even the gay guys dont talk as much about homosexual stuff more than the "not gay guys"....

80% here have never seen the inside of a gym...

There were...top pro's...and a lot of them, all in one place. Itmade for some great REAL drama, arguments, debates, etc....

I would have killed to have had an opportunity back in the day to have conversed in real time with the likes of Arnold, Lou, Franco, Zane, Dickerson, Robbie, Draper, Mentzer, etc...

Unfortunately, Al Gore hadent invented the internet yet.....

But can you even imagine...?

I'm one of the biggest homosexuals here and everyday I see more and more average "straight" guys here talking about caressing the insides of a man's sigmoid colon with their crayon.

Damn n i missed it all as well. Im guessing not many more would fancy coming around here either now.I see what you mean though, and to be honest Bob, alot of actual fans like me are glad we get the opportunity to hear your views and opinions.I dont always agree obviously with you on things, but when you talk about Arnold etc up there, well youre in the same bracket from younger guys growing up now who follow modern bodybuilding.Your input is appreciated here.Hope you stick around!

I havent been to the old high school in quite some years...it's changed a lot i'M told...and almost all the teachers are gone now....My mom actually ran into one of my old football coaches ( Mike Lopa) at her 50th HS reunion last month...he was in good spirits, but fighting ALZ...sad to see. Lots of old great memories

Brother Joe-man is still the same...virtually unchanged from 10, 20, 30 years ago...good and bad I suppose

The pros just post elsewhere now, bcuz they are paid to or told to as part of their contracts. It's kinda like how Ron Harris and Jay's personal hand job assistant took their threads of MM and went to the highest.....well, only bidders I guess. King and TP were both into talking shit as much as anyone, but TP got sick and King went downhill and knew it and couldn't take the beatings online by 15 year old pimple faces. Titus isn't posting anymore for obvious reasons. So that leaves us with Chick, and let's face it Bob you appreciate the shenanigans here about as much as anyone here or you would go to one of the other boards.
