ya but mirs take downs are so shitty I dont think he can get santos to the ground but mir has decent stand up also.

probably, I watched the countdown for the fight, and MIR going for a jog didn't look impressive, he reminded me of a contestant from the Biggest Loser - he made jogging look very hard indeed.  But having said that, if he can get the fight to the ground, he has enough cardio to grind out a submission, personally I think JDS will win, but for some odd reason I want Mir to smash Junior.

How can you root agianst Junior?  He seems like a humble dude from a really poor neighborhood who's fighting to take of his mom....if he wasn't Brazilian he'd be a great American.  :)

There are no humble human beings, just people who play the game low key - underneath all that facade is a normal dysfunctional human being like the rest of us.  I am sure JDS has the same sick impulses the average Getbigger wrestles with!

Mir has great Jits and very good standup. I don't know why people hate him so much. He's not tier 1, but he's a strong tier 2--and definitely not a 'can'. That term gets used too much.
Mir also has a wildcard factor.
But no, I don't think he'll beat JDS. He'll try to show he can stand with him and get KTFO.
