I talked to mindspin. The show will be the weekend of October 18th. That would mean competitor pics should be taken the week before, and probably due around the thursday before that, on Oct 16th. Then I'll work to have the full competitor gallery of pics up by Sat the 16th, and results from our judges (who will they be?) by Monday the 20th.
This is 3 weeks after the Olympia. Our talented CQ and Mindspin did a great job with the last 2 shows, and our great sponsor gave out $5000 in CASH prizes for the Mr GetBig 2. A lot of people were kicking themselves for not entering. Be sure to enter! A lot of members could have won serious $ in the GB II just by entering.

Meso has the sickest arms/chest around at a low bodyweight, but I never recall him posting wheel pics in all these years. My guess is, he's top-heavy, but I could be very wrong.
Whateva could easily win it, sure. Alexxx didn't prepare much at all for the last show and made an easy $1000 for 3 minutes worth of work.
I'm looking at the pics from GB 1 - Whateva had better shape and had more complete legs, but TA was just thick as can be. I can't wait to see what contest #3 brings.

Why are you kissing his ass? You did see that Whateva is entering, didn't you? The first "contest" wasn't even close. Primadonis was just lucky his pal Bast has no calves. Oh, and don't let me forget the national lv. competitor that took the blurriest pictures ever seen. Better calves on one guy + clearer pics of the NPC champ = Prima in 4th place.
Also, where are you getting this junk about Prima's "thickness"? His conditioning was good -- still had fat on the lower abs and ass, which wouldn't cut it in a real show -- but thickness is/was definitely not his strength. Aside from decent shoulders, biceps and erectors, I was decidely underwhelmed ... check how flat his chest was in the front lat spread. It looked a little better than skin stretched taut over bone I guess :-\

But - the checks were mailed out right after the show, so that is what really matters I hope/think :D

Yeah, it's really odd... for some reason Ron is a real jew when it comes to giving out stars. Not just with the Mr Getbig, but goodrum and others never got competitor stars even after Ron said they would.

Exactly. I've been cracking and downing raw eggs for years an never had any problems. I supplement with biotine to prevent any enzymatic binding related defficiency but that's it.
When an egg is bad, you can detect it.
uhh you dont need biotine if you are eating the yolk broskie, plenty of bioten in the yolks my weegar
the whites by themselves is the problem, they sap the bioten from your body creating a deficiency "'huge guy'"

You can do 20 - 25 pounds in 4 months, and the process won't make you feel fatigued if you nail your diet.

you are someone who has abs. thats it.
in the following mandatory poses you will embarrass yourself just because you do not have enough appreciable musculature to make them look good:
back double bi/ front double bi/ rear lat/ front lat. in the other 2, which will be taken from the side you will fare well, as your triceps compensate well for your lack of bicep, and you do have good shoulders.
but once your arms raise to head level, or they are posed away from your body, you are fucked.
and thats without even needing to see your legs.

The 2 female judges used are higher ranked competitors than anyone else who posts here - male or female - now with Shawn/Lee gone. Literally. An IFBB pro with a pro level win, a top 5 placer at the Olympia, and someone who has appeared on the cover of numerous magazines. The other female judge, an IFBB world champion, won then refused IFBB pro status, holds multiple IFBB medals, has appeared in magazines, has judged actual IFBB shows and is an international IFBB official.
Also - they have been on the boards about 5 years each - and one of the people you mentioned as being a good judge - was not even a judge actually.

If it was Neo or Alexxx I could understand.
Last year I compiled a thread where I put some getbiggers opinions in as the how they scored it [Goat, Jeff, GH15, Gaareth etc]. Every single person who posted scores agreed with the judges as to Jae. Hard to believe that like 25 people agreeing were all wrong.

Howie was mentioned last year, and like you I thought he was viable also, until he started like 5 back to back threads [you know how Howie rolls] saying it is wrong it have a online contest, we should all fly somewhere and meet, that online contests are not proper etc. Having the judge starting threads saying the contest was wrong many times would have prolly created quite the ruckus.
I thought Musclecenter would also be a very good choice last year, but he did not seem up for it as I did try via pm to enquire a few times.

I concur; the judges should be as impartial as possible. For example, a lot of people already favor Adonis and are saying shit about him winning, when he wasn't even close to beating whateva the first time around. lol Serious asskissing here. Comments about Meso are just praises and I don't think there's much bias involved.
JJ had the balls to do it as the prize money wasn't even announced till much later. I give him credit for that, but again he was in very bad shape and shouldn't have entered.
The money is good because it makes the Mr. Getbig more competitive. But then again, there's also a chance of foul play now due to money.

It's international recall, was promoted a West Indian and Columbian, site done by an American, won by an Aussie, with a Canadian and Americans in. If plane tickets are not included [Honour's would have cost about $2,000], prize could be useless to many. Also, then it may limit people, as some nationalities basically need to give months notices, and file about 40 documents to enter the USA, some people may not have time off work etc.
Basically, cash was kind of easier, everyone can use cash.

I talked to mindspin. The show will be the weekend of October 18th. That would mean competitor pics should be taken the week before, and probably due around the thursday before that, on Oct 16th. Then I'll work to have the full competitor gallery of pics up by Sat the 16th, and results from our judges (who will they be?) by Monday the 20th.
This is 3 weeks after the Olympia. Our talented CQ and Mindspin did a great job with the last 2 shows, and our great sponsor gave out $5000 in CASH prizes for the Mr GetBig 2. A lot of people were kicking themselves for not entering. Be sure to enter! A lot of members could have won serious $ in the GB II just by entering.

If plane tickets are not included [Honour's would have cost about $2,000], prize could be useless to many. Also, then it may limit people, as some nationalities basically need to give months notices, and file about 40 documents to enter the USA, some people may not have time off work etc.
Basically, cash was kind of easier, everyone can use cash.

I concur; the judges should be as impartial as possible. For example, a lot of people already favor Adonis and are saying shit about him winning, when he wasn't even close to beating whateva the first time around. lol Serious asskissing here. Comments about Meso are just praises and I don't think there's much bias involved.
JJ had the balls to do it as the prize money wasn't even announced till much later. I give him credit for that, but again he was in very bad shape and shouldn't have entered.
The money is good because it makes the Mr. Getbig more competitive. But then again, there's also a chance of foul play now due to money.

LOL... I have zero say in judging. I think TA could have won the GB II in the shape he brought to the I. It will absolutely be a fair and impartial contest. The scoresheets are released in a big excel sheet, and if I recall, the judges detailed who they liked, and why. Both times, the contest was won by relatively unknown members, over vocal members with way more recognition, so I don't think name recognition or favoritism showed up at all.

95% of the people will have problems dieting. I am mixing in AM cardio while trying to keep the calories slightly in a deficit.

Not to speak for Mindspin, but sure sounds great. It is about $500 or so for each person at WADA standards. We've had about 6 guys each year. If you or anyone else wants to paypal Ron $3,000 to ensure its there to cover the costs I am sure Mind will implement testing once the $3,000 is securely in Rons hands.
The entrants will have to cover the medical cost of providing a sample and fed-exing it - and chances are the board will them complain that people had someone else provide the urine anyway [easily done], or they just had the stuff out of their system etc... but if testing makes the board happy - just a matter of a getbigger sponsoring the costs, as tbh it will be extremely hard to get an additional sponsor for that.
Or we could have an open show with not even a pretense of baing natty, that way these unknown folks pm'ing me with like 2 posts [seriously] can hop in and win it all, as I suspect behind the screennames they are top amatuers...as the cash last year attracted some interest.

LOL, are you aware of how few places there are that actually do proper WADA testing? Google it and see. Just 'going to a decided location' could mean someone flying thousands of miles. Or of course, they could do some cheesy ass doctor test which is hardly worth the time as any fool can beat that.

If you don't want to enter then don't. The intent is/was for getbig members to show and prove. The monetary benefits is just an incentive to get more people to do it. Also testing proves nothing.

How about only drug testing the top 3? After placings are dished out, the top 3 could submit to a drug test in order to recieving their prizes. Testing everyone who enters would deter a lot of good naturals simply because it would be a hassel for them
