I'll bet. Friend of mine from Ghana looks ready to step on stage every day he falls out of bed. He played soccer in his younger days, these days does nothing but play drums. His diet? Rice, foufou (some kind of sticky bland tasting dough) and plantains. A little meat once a week or so. Not fair.

Worst humidity I ever encountered in my life was in Fort Lauderdale :).
I have lived in Africa, on the border of the Kalahari desert. I can assure you the humidity was not high there. Mind you- Africa is a huge continent, crossing several climate zones.
