If U.S. goes back to work in 2 weeks why $2 trillion relief plan?

This will not end well..
So much for opening / going back to work..

      

The peak is 3-4 weeks off. Politicians have done what they can do for optics but the real pain is probably yet to be reported on. Stock market is far from done taking a beating. Economic impact hasn't even started as far as lasting supply chain issues.

1 million positive cases is 0.3%.

3 million positive cases is 1%.

The vast majority of cases will recover.  It's not the end of the world.

Of course it sucks for those in critical condition.

My guess is that by May 4th, they will start looking into opening stores and other business, with the 'social distancing' still in effect for a long time. 

As for senior nursery homes, gathering events, concerts and groups, I give that more time, at least June 1st or so if we are lucky.

There is a difference between social distancing, and being in a movie stadium or sports game or concert where there is none.
