LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - "Batman" star Christian Bale is in negotiations to headline the fourth installment of the "Terminator" movie series.

There were rumors of The Rock being the Terminator but I haven't kept up with that stuff lately.

check out empire of the rising sun and the machenist. two really awesome movies by him. in empire of the rising sun hes only thirteen and i think thats his best performance so far

I know those were good films. The guy is really talented. He is British but can speak with a perfect American accent.

The word was that Rescue Dawn is going to take home all the awards this year. Maybe Bale will finally get the best actor nod. I would have gave it to him for either American Psycho or the Machinist esp the Machinist they always go for underground obscure shit like that.

I like Bale but thats a really overrated movie imho.I love his dedication, he adds around 35 pounds of muscle and diets down to 6% for American Psycho then drops down to 120 pounds to play an insomniac in the machinist, then gains nearly 100 pounds for the Batman casting call, trims that down to around 185 for the movie, then again diets down to around 125 pounds to play a malnutrioned Vietnam POW, insane when you think he can already get top pussy, already is rich, respected etc, purely down to his love of acting.

Yeah i saw Rescue Dawn last week, was a bit slow but the guy can really act. He would be up there with Edward Norton now as one of the best I'd say

ABsolutly brillinat news I think Bale is awesome and way under apreachiated by the "mass media"

but maybe that's a good thing.

he looks like an older edward furlong if you ask me

arnold had the intimidating look, robert patrick looked like a cat which was perfect for the agile and fast terminator he played

Its called an OPINION, to me he has the ability to look very cold and dead, perfect traits to play a machine.
