As the third biggest population in the world and the biggest population of the western world by far, it shouldn't come as a surprise there are some very inventive people there. "americans" came and come from all over the world, so there are genes mixed in from everywhere. There are really smart people allmost everywhere as there are people that are half braindead. Many smart and successful people live and work in the US, because of the fact that there are more choices at least for the "right" kind of people.
