As great as Dorian was he never was able to get the separation and detail in his arms, delts, and pecs that he could get in his back.
He always looked unfinished from the front.
I'm a big Dorian fan but Ronnie simply is in another league compared to everyone else.

Nope :'( Too expensive for me to drive there and back...I'm getting 13mpg :-X I really liked that gym. It did always smell like a rotten pizza though :-\

yeah i know man at damn near 4 bucks a gallon it's a haul, if gas goes down we'll have to hit a workout up there, biggest dumbells i've ever seen up there.

Once Dorian retired, I had a chance to get to know the real person. I stayed at his home in England, and we did several guest appearances together. I realized that he was not a punk rocker but an intelligent and caring person.

Ronnie 2003 has severe balance, structure and conditioning issues that Dorian lacks. Bigger does not = better, otherwise guys wouldn't even bother to diet down.

I also noticed Mike Mentzer, who trained in a similar style as Yates also had that lack of detail in pecs and arms as well. Perhaps the low volume- high intensity training causes that. Arnold always said Mentzer needed to do more sets if he wanted to etch in more quality and detail. Mentzer said that Arnold was wrong and that exercises don't add separation to muscle, only diet does. I'm starting to think higher volume training does give more muscular detail. Thoughts?
