Yes there were a few year there when he looks very good..

He had a decent showing at the Olympia one year I think...

After the diabetes diagnosis there was a noticeable decline

Still around, does the Olympia and Arnold #212 class mostly now. He's a middle to upper middle placer in those shows sometimes, but he's getting old.

It must be interesting for Hidetada to literally represent bodybuilding to an entire country. Similar to Hadi Choopan in Iran.

Hide and Hadi represent entire countries in the world of bodybuilding.

I suspect Samir Bannout must have enjoyed that feeling too quite a bit in the 1980's.
