Serious question:
What is the cost $$ to prep for that type of competition ??
they're carrying over from the their last show. this next stretch of shows is a carry over where you pretty much have to hold condition.
drugs would make up the least of your expenses. a lot of guys get it either given to them, or at prices that the average guys would never see in a lifetime. they arent paying $300 for a 100iu of generic chinese gh lets just say that. cost of drugs make up less than their food bills id estimate. if it doesnt they need to find a better source.
the major costs are travel expenses for most, unless they too are sponsored privately or corporately, and their food whch most dont think about when it comes to this.
the other two major costs that tie in are your time- what is your time worth? and when your traveling you dont work. for an amature competitor this is a very big deal- not only do you have to spend money getting ready for your prep- its costs you time away from earning an income.
food for thought before you take up the thong and syringe in pursuit of this most illustrious career.

"I'd like to apologize to all the big Ramy fans. As you probably already heard he did not compete in Madrid at the Arnold Classic yesterday due to his hamstring injury. Ramy tried everything and was already tanned and oiled up ready to get onstage when he realized that the pain was so severe that he could not step onstage and compete knowing he couldn't squeeze and flex the way he needed to in order to be competitive. So he decided to not go onstage. It's an injury that he sustained 4 weeks out of the Mr Olympia and I guess from all the posing at the O and then the long flight from Phoenix to Madrid made it even worse. He is very sorry and wants you all to know that he tried his best but sometimes even a warrior spirit is not enough and some injuries just need time to heal. He wants to apologize to the Arnold Classic promoters and fans that came out to see big Ramy on stage last night. He will still be traveling to Dubai tomorrow and be there for the fans that expect to see him compete. He won't compete but he will come and be there for his fans representing the IFBB and of course the promoter of the Dubai pro show. I know it sucks but I also know that he will be back better than ever. I wish him a speedy recovery."

But on that day Wolf was drier, much bigger and in some poses he holds his own even on aesthetics side. Good thing that he won.

Question. Wut r guys doing or taking that they can appear decently cut in some pix but watery in others AND both cut n watery in the same pic
First example would be the mess of the watery belly in the first pic. For a person that cut those abs shouldn't look like the have a film of jello over them.
Second example is the arnold twisting pose wolf is doing. Absolutely no definition in his shoulders. Just by heis sheer mass u can the stiations but just cuz he's big. Not even close to clearly defined lines in the shoulders.
Latley u can see deep lines in his glutes but wherever his trunks put pressure on his skin he looses all definition. Almost like a guy that swells gets swelling around his socks.
Maybe it's the lack of diuretics?
Maybe w all the chemicals they r doing their job but pressure in the kidneys is causing seelling? Maybe none of those but a lot of competitors have that look where they can look dry but have that wateriness about them.

My theory is that the bigger you are, the harder it becomes to get rid of all(!) the subcutaneous fluid, esp with serious dosages of insulin & GH.

I believe a few years back Arnold wanted to give 1 million dollars to the winner of the Arnold Classic (original one), but he couldn't because he wasn't allowed to give more than the Olympia, as it supersede the Olympia. So that is why he started awarded H2 Hummers and Rolexes.

You must have a male feet fetish as well, right? Dorian had average/poor biceps and Jay had poor forearms. I would rather have poor calves (well, they're decent in my case) than those other flaws.

Yuck! Shawn looks like he's been dipped in gooey black paint. He's a black guy, right?! He's plenty dark in the skin department. Dennis looks like he was dipped in a deep fryer for a bit too long but otherwise the clear winner with Sleepy Rhoden in a well deserved second.
I think it should have been the same at the O with Dennis in first and Sleepy in second. Too bad it wasn't.

Haha yep! In person he doesn't look impressive at all, he was training with ronnie and Corey out of metroflex last year when he was signed with Ronnie's supplement
