what does that mean
Are you a young black male, by any chance??
Poor people in Black ghettos are often obsessed with not
looking poor and will go to great lengths to ensure that their kids are 'dressed' nicely.
I grew up in a place where I routinely saw brothas who were barely employed driving around in cars that were nicer than anything my family drove. I wasn't envious as I've never cared about having a 'nice car' myself, but I did notice it.
But clothes and cars - things which attach to one's ass - will never go up in value. Yes, there are classic cars, I know, but not in the 'hood. So much money that could be used to build wealth is instead spent on things which drop in value with each passing day.
It's only been in recent times that we've seen a large number of black clothing designers (many of whom do in-house manufacturing) and there are NO black-owned automakers.
