after 911, a lot people moved from manhattan to downtown brooklyn caused the realesate to skyrocket. At that point I decided to move.

I never understood how can one live in manhattan..no reason to breath and you can't have a car (garages cost like $1,000/month)

I know, brooklyn is cool, but its still brooklyn, too many foreigners, pollution and ingnorant loud mouthed ghetto teens and twenty somethings infesting the sidewalks and subways. Cant stand going out there because of them. At least in Manhattan everyone is somewhat mature and respectful.

As if Canarsie's a paradise LOL It might be if you're white trash. There are some nice areas of Brooklyn that have been developed recently, "near the belt" ain't one of em-it's like another world, a time-warp from the 1940s LOL

I want to thank everybody on the board for all the props following the downfall of the king troller who not only caused more waste of database disk space than anyone but also alienated many getbiggers with his racist shit and theatrical "invincible anonymity".

After seeing that he's just another 35yo out of shape getbig addicted "freelancer", former HBK on anabolic review http://www.getbig.com/boards/index.php?topic=136621.0;topicseen, the curtains comes down Wizard of Oz style, with all the "deception" that goes with it.

Bottom line is all The Crew isn't a bunch of trollers claiming to own this place (some say we do 8) ), we intend to keep this place sharp, respectable and with a high dredge of coolness... and for course the funny  ;D

In general this is true; it's a throw back to another era and most of Brooklyn's still grubby. I'll say though that over the last 15 or so years a number of neighborhoods have been redone and are different from your standard low-budget Brookyln look AND are actually nicer to live in that comparable neighborhoods in Manhattan.

I work in the city..too many of my co-workers have a roommate in a space smaller than my kitchen paying $2,000+

also a bottle of water is $1.75 (1 pint)
also I drive everywhere..except into the city

also you can't get any good carribean food in the city  :)

great clubs and slutty chicks though..actually the chicks are from jersey.

what getbig needed more than anything was a change of atmosphere. people were afraid to be honest about how they look or how strong they are for fear of said trollers harassing them for no reason other than they themselves looked like hell and wanted to bring everyone else down. bullying due to insecurity in its most "elementary school" definition.
