Who's going to be the winner this year? Wavelength vs. Go4it have been prepping since last year. Legendary contestants Adonis, Alexxx, and Bast were also supposed to make a come back. That shit's gonna be epic! (no homo)

Trained them ;D Never worked legs consistantly, I would train them for a month, and them wouldn't train them for a year lol...they were never a focus for me, nor was having a completely balanced physique, I loved lifting, but I also loved running and swimming and various athletics, so being ripped and looking good in clothes was more my goal.Wow nice work Go 4 It. I started training them twice a week, all basic movements, lots of free bar squats front/back/ and hacks, been eating alot more consistantly 6/7 meals a day, and been incorporating alot more fats in my diet, even cycle on and off the anabolic diet a few times a year. And yes all done naturally.

he can't do anything about lack of spondorship. Dude puts a lot of work into the mr getbig every year, can't expect him to do everthing. CQ and Mindspin bailed on us this year, so the pretty situation is pretty dim. But the yearning for muscle up men in thongs is quite strong on getbig, so you never know.

The first year, if I recall correctly - I built the website AND found and coordinated the sponsors. mindspin and CQ judging, i think. It was years back, so I don't remember all of it... I had a baby due a week later so I was very very busy that week.
A lot of ppl helped out, tossing in cash and small prizes. A lot of fun, excitement, etc. Dan and Bob even announced the results live on PBW. I'm sure the guys in part 2 and 3 didn't mind checks ranging from 500 to $2000, however!

Awesome, how did we fund it exactly? I think money is a motivating factor for sure, but i think groink maybe right that we should return back to our roots and run it like we did the first time. Money is good but it takes away from the spirit when d-bags like aquailles are motivated to join to earn a dishonest buck. A couple hundred bucks, some supplements and the praise of getbig should be satisfying enough for a true getbigger 8)

PBW sent 200. tommywishbone sent 100. then somehting like 20 companies all sent a little something. Winner would get 100 or 200 credit in their store, etc. Rusty Jeffers sent a posing DVD to the winner. Some of our very own getbiggers chipped in too, on prizes and cash!
I don't know what the final totals were, but it was great. Ron was cool with it, so those companies got plenty of love here. it only took a small donation from a few companies, and we had a really exciting show.
That being said... nothing beats $5k in cold cash that Mindspin delivered!

I'm sorry but you can't bash the original organizers and sponsors of the show, kick them to the side for Mindspin's friends to take over and then come back to us when they bailed out on you. Some may but others won't. I certainly won't because I really got shitted on for no reason especially since I came through with my prizes and helped get the first Mr Getbig off the road. Hate me all you want but I did come through for my fellow Getbiggers when it counted and that's more than you'll get from other detractors
I hope there is another Mr Getbig because it was great. Connelly and Mindspin are multi-millionaires so there's no money issues with the same prize amount. I don't see the issue as 240 would design the sight and we have plenty of people willing to be judges this year. There would not be more work to be done.

I've leveled out at bout 190 lbs for the entire past year. My weight for last years MGBIII pics was 178lbs...I had dieted down from 220lbs as most of you know and enjoyed following ;D. I feel like I can be in same condition within 4-5 weeks instead of 4-5 months like last year! LOL I feel like i've made a little improvement in my shldrs/chest.....btw, if you're accusing me of using gear, then I'll take that as a compliment. Take a look at my post history. I think anyone who uses gear is a weak minded, lazy psychotherapy experiment. I'll give top pro BB's a pass cause at least they turn it into $$$ unlike dumbass gym rats who take short cuts in everything they do in life. Purely pathetic.

Well, you pretty much summed up why none of the original sponsors such as myself are not going to support the show anymore. The show was organized by smaller companies such as myself the first year and then you and Connelly swooped in and took over the whole event to promote his company Progenex once you saw that there was a marketing opportunity.
Its been a whole year gone by so time isn't a factor and you're both multi-millionaires so money obviously isn't neither.
You took over the show Mindspin for your buddy Dr. Connelly to promote Progenex and froze out all the other sponsors and now that the advertising is over with and you can't make anymore money off promoting the event, you are simply abandoning the event and flushing it down the toilet.

last thing i took was a primo/anavar oil suspention i made myself from chinese powders + ephedrine/caffein - used up the oil in around a month, it took 2 months to lose the weight. (with no excercise, except bodyweight pushups + squats)
was on a protein sparing modified fast with eat what i like weekends - worked great 8)

The show was organized by smaller companies such as myself the first year and then you and Connelly swooped in and took over the whole event to promote his company Progenex once you saw that there was a marketing opportunity.
Its been a whole year gone by so time isn't a factor and you're both multi-millionaires so money obviously isn't neither.
You took over the show Mindspin for your buddy Dr. Connelly to promote Progenex and froze out all the other sponsors and now that the advertising is over with and you can't make anymore money off promoting the event, you are simply abandoning the event and flushing it down the toilet.

This was always a very cool idea from the beginning - let the ppl decide. Sure, you will have people voting by grudge, gimmicks, etc... and the chance that people will use proxies to vote 100 times for themselves.
An alternative might be to give every getbig member with at least 1000 posts a single vote, using a regular getbig poll.
Not to make it stupid, by why not a hybrid vote.

Fwiw, I reckon no one with an account should be excluded from competing, even if they have just one post. No prize money = no cheats. Getbig is a little sleepy these days and drawing in some new people would be a good thing. But again, I say we leave the final decision up to the guy who has to up the pics since he'll be regretting doing it pro bono if 2000 people show up. :D

Not at all...I'm 5'10" 190lbs during year and will diet down to around 180 for contest weight....I'm 34 and have mature muscle. I'm nothing special, but I def get noticed in gyms by my physique and poundages lifted. I've always gotten the steroid comments, but I'm a lifetime natty. I love to work out(always have) and I keep a damn clean diet for 6 days/week.....look out on the 7th day though!

yes its true - i have owned many a poor soul on here - a list too long to type out - however i also have a kind side.
Take disturbia for example. This poor fellow doesn't have a thing in the world to be happy about, so being the nice guy that i am i actually tried to help him. In the end he turned away from my advices and instead tried to own and insult me. Fortunately for him, he escaped my attention after the bottom AXA rode his mind to infinity and beyond, and forced him to the point of his 3rd mental breakdown.
Clearly this guy has further issues that need attention, by the fact he still chooses to insult me and risk my wrath. Make no mistake, if i chose to obliterate his mind i could without a single bit of effort. But alas he needs my pity more so i'll continue to give him a pass.
