Only Jesus Christ Saves:

5 "Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing. 6 Anyone who parts from me is thrown away like a useless branch and withers. Such branches are gathered into a pile to be burned. 7 But if you stay joined to me and my words remain in you, you may ask any request you like, and it will be granted! 8 My true disciples produce much fruit. This brings great glory to my Father.
John 15:5 NIV

Yeah, & there's one that says, "Judge not & Ye shall not be judged" or how about the one that says , " Let he who is without sin, cast the first stone". Any of those ring a bell, Mr. Christian?

Shawn -

Don't want to get off the subject too much beacuse I know this board is about Titus -

but what is your opinion on these preachers like Benny Hinn who steal money and "heal" people.

It was the answer I was looking for.

I guess that people can slaughter other people & I am still amazed that Jesus will allow that individual to be saved.

& you forget to bring something home from the grocery store...& the wife wont forgive you.

c'mon shawn be honest here.... why you suddenly find god ??

what s'hit was preyin on your consciounce so you had to scurry into a squalid lil griefhole of delusion!

with all the blood spilled in gods name historically .. i think believin in one god is one god too many.

and i aplaud the craven attempt to prey on the vunerable at a time of crisis. eccentric cults and extreme politics have a field day recruitin the lost n lonely in prison ....

... hey call me cynical!

True, Jesus did forgive the "Thief on the Cross."
Talk about last minute forgiveness into eternity!
Personally, I dont think about Benny Hinn and the likes, they need to go down to CHOC Hospital and heal those kids, sadly that has never happend.
However, miracles happen everyday, I dont believe in so called "Healers"
Peace,

Freedom and being Saved do not equal the same thing.

23 Before faith in Christ came, we were held prisoners by the law. We were locked up until faith was made known. 24 So the law was put in charge until Christ came. He came so that we might be made right with God by believing in Christ.

25 But now faith in Christ has come. So we are no longer under the control of the law.

Galatians 3

I agree, my wife is a nurse and works with children who are drowning victims and human vegetables. Too bad Benny can't come in there and do some magic.

Dying at 33 couldn't have helped. Not to mention the fact that you really would not want to be on the bad side of his Dad. It would be a little intimidating, to say the least.

Jesus was the Elvis of his day ---nuf said

he has as much to do with bodybuilding as Kelly & Craig do right now

never forget - SEPT 11 was done in the name of "religion"

hypocrisy - stick a needle in your ass for Jesus - let them worship your body for it

don't get me started

If I'm not mistaken, there is a theory that Mary Magdalene might have been his wife.

SHAWN:

I am a christian just like you but I have this feeling that you are enjoying another mans misery, instead of reaching out to him and trying to help him to find Christ for himself.

Sad to say that it takes many people being forced to lay down on their backs to look up to Christ and this is where we as Christians come in to place their hands and minds on Christ.

Sorry for being preachy!!!

Hey Shawn,

I loved you as a pro [thanks for one of the very best physiques and posing routines EVER!] and I - regularly - enjoy reading your posting here .. .. .. but, FFS sir, please place a little more effort into your spelling!

Everywhere I look it's the same-old, same old sheet when it comes to the below.

You're --  Contraction of you are.
Your --  1. Used as a modifier before a noun: your boots; your accomplishments.
             2. A person's; one's: The light switch is on your right.
             3. Informal. Used with little or no sense of possession to indicate a type familiar to the listener: your basic three-story frame house.

Ther real question is this:Can Shawn Ray be saved, from his own sins, which includes lying, deceivind others, showing contempt to those last fortunate than him. Would a merciful God, forgive such a perverse soul?

they can find spirituality in prison, but it will stay with them in prison

if they had any spirituality on the outside world, they wouldn't be in there now
