Vanity Fair interview with Arnold Shwarzenegger reveals that he decided to run for Governor of California on a car ride to appear with Jay Leno,...that he didn't give much thought to matter,...and that his motivation to announce his candidacy was to freak people out and be funny...

What amazes me is, who the fuk would vote an ex-actor to run their country  ???

Who the fuk would be so stupid!!! Don't people realize the leader should have maybe some competence ?


Well... what I've heard his term was not too successful and people got what they ordered. Correct me if I'm wrong, though I think I'm not.

Nah... It was a traitor in Kremlin who caused the collapse. Reagan supported Gorbachev of course and encouraged him to keep pushing "reforms" that later appeared fatal. Can't deny, Reagan was really good in that.  But no way he would have had any chance if someone like Mr. Putin was his opponent at the time.
