On Monday night, Christie appeared on “The Late Show With David Letterman,” where he jokingly took a donut out of his pocket and took a bite as Letterman teased him about his weight.

He's in the off-season.  Hurricane sandy really messed up his cut.  He'll be back in the gym in no time.  Maybe he'll do the Arnold 2014 or a smaller qualifier later in the year.

I'm doing a version of the Adonis principle at the moment.  I have to say its working. I've enjoyed ice cream almost every night and still getting trimmer.   I may moderate my carbs a bit as time goes by.  I'm not obese.  I'm trying to fit into a 32 for the first time in several years.  Already fit into my 34's.

Slowly but surely, jobs are growing in New Jersey, according to Gov. Chris Christie.

He pointed that out during his Jan. 8 State of the State address in Trenton, saying, "In total, we have added 75,000 private sector jobs in New Jersey since we took office in January 2010."

Chris Christie says state's gained 75,000 private-sector jobs since he took office
True
Share this story:

New Jersey’s unemployment rate continues to hover above the rest of the nation but jobs are growing in the Garden State, according to Gov. Chris Christie.

The growth is so good that Christie highlighted job gains during his State of the State address on Jan. 8.

"In total, we have added nearly 75,000 private sector jobs in New Jersey since we took office in January 2010," he told lawmakers in Trenton.

Christie has had a mixed bag of results from the Truth-O-Meter when it comes to claims about jobs. This time, however, he’s on target.

Let’s review the facts.

Christie became governor on Jan. 19, 2010, so we’ll measure private-sector job growth from that month, as well as February 2010 – his first full month in office. Also, since Christie gave his State of the State address on Jan. 8, we’re looking at job growth through November 2012. The December jobs numbers didn’t come out until Thursday, but we’ll note those figures later.

New Jersey had 3,203,200 jobs in January 2010 and 3,269,900 jobs in November 2012, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. That’s a net gain of 66,700 jobs.

But Christie’s figure is on the mark if we start the jobs clock a month later.

New Jersey had 3,197,600 private-sector jobs in February 2010 and 3,269,900 jobs in November 2012, according to BLS data. That net gain is 72,300 jobs.

But 75,000 isn’t the highest private-sector jobs number that New Jersey has seen during Christie’s tenure.

In a July 2, 2012 speech to the state Legislature, where he presented his case for a tax cut, Christie said the state had added "nearly 85,000 private-sector jobs" since Feburary 2010.

Joseph P. Seneca, an economics professor with the Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, said New Jersey’s jobs losses from June through October 2012 was at odds with national job growth. October’s Hurricane Sandy resulted in more significant job losses in November, but employment started to realign in December, he said.

And seasonal hires were only part of the story for a major upswing in job growth announced Thursday: employers added 30,200 workers from across all major labor sectors to their payrolls.

Factoring in those numbers, New Jersey’s private-sector job growth from February 2010 through December 2012 is 103,200, Seneca said.

"Moving into 2013, New Jersey’s economy is poised to continue to grow," Seneca said. "There are still question marks out there with the federal fiscal debt and potential government shutdown and all the drama in Washington being played out again, but the December numbers are a big relief and catch up from what had been a pretty weak prior six months, but it’s much more consistent now with what’s been happening nationally."

Christie spokesman Michael Drewniak and Kevin Roberts did not return a request for comment.

Our ruling

Christie said during his State of the State address, "In total, we have added nearly 75,000 private sector jobs in New Jersey since we took office in January 2010."

If measured from January 2010, New Jersey’s job growth  through November 2012 (December jobs figures didn’t come out until Thursday) was 66,700 jobs.

Measured from February 2010 – Christie’s first full month in office – the net private-sector gains are 72,300 jobs.

The numbers only get better. After the release of December’s job figures, New Jersey’s net private-sector job growth since January 2010 is 97,600 jobs. From February 2010, it’s 103,200 jobs.

We rate the governor’s statement True.

Eat whatever you want to make up 2000-2500 calories and you will be ripped in time.  By default you will get adequate nutrition and if you are weight training, try to get around .5 grams per lb of bodyweight of protein but don`t stress out over it if you don`t everyday.

Sorry but that's some of the worst nutrition advice I've heard. If you're taking in junk calories then you'll look like crap of course. You need a coach to structure a SOUND and PROPER diet for you, one that will put muscle on you and take fat off you as quickly as humanly possible.

It seems pretty clear to me than even an orangutan can devise a diet that beats your bullshit principles. If you want to learn about REAL nutrition (and training) then I'm available for coaching though I charge a bomb.

No supplements
I consumed the same amount of calories
I went from 6 meals a day to 3 meals a day.
Protein from 180gr to 100gr .
Replaced  sweet potatoes, oatmeal, brown rice, pasta......etc.   for ice cream ,doughnuts ,chocolate....etc.
I lost muscle and gained fat
I went from a solid 173lbs  to skinny fat  175lbs.

I forgot how important nutrition is in natural '' bodybuilding''
There you have it ,the ''Adonis principles'' are shit, I hope this helps

Dude, you're just a fuckin' troll/gimmick. Even a baboon gives better diet advice than you. What do you know about the Lord Jesus (or even anything at all)? ::)
Tell us, internet wonderboy, how much have you made "online".

Slightly over a hundred bucks I think. I've had difficulty attracting clients so far but things can only get better with the Lord on my side and the expertise I possess. People are instrinsically dumb and don't want to improve themselves by hiring me though.

Most fat people i know are also in denial as to the time frame it takes to lose weight.  Christy in his interviews seems oblivious to dietary realities.

Eat whatever you want to make up 2000-2500 calories and you will be ripped in time.  By default you will get adequate nutrition and if you are weight training, try to get around .5 grams per lb of bodyweight of protein but don`t stress out over it if you don`t everyday.

Nobody ever got ripped on your dumbass 2000 calorie McDonald's diet including you.

Are you trying to say that if he ate just 2000 calories of trans fats that he wouldn't be ripped?

I think low carb works to shed fat - but no carbs at all over a period of time is bad news IMHO

Sometimes you can use low carbs as long as the carbs aren't so low that you go into ketosis.

I think it had allto do with hedging his bets for Sandy Relief $$$$$

so you think a few million locally in $ > the next 4 years of national debt, global currency, military, etc?

In that case, Christie is the most clueless, selfish SOB in history.  Agreed?

Like what?  If I make a recipe, say a Strawberry dream cake, I put all the ingredients in myself and therefore know the exact caloric content of the whole cake.  You can slice the cake into however many equal pieces and just divide from the total caloric amount, what each piece would be.

Or

You can weigh the entire cake and make a proportion calculation.  For instance, if the cake weighs 3000 grams and the calories are 6000- say you just pull off a piece and its 253 grams.  Simply multiply 253*6000 then divide the result by 3000 which will give you 506.  A 253 gram slice of that cake is 506 calories.

You can apply these methods to any food.

Making up what? You have never been in contest shape. Post some pics of you from the back? As I recall during the time of the Mr. Getbig contest you entered, your whole body from the back was pretty thick with fat as far a contest ready condition. You mention this Wavelngth guy, is that all you have? If I recall correctly there have been a few people on here who have tried this dumbass  diet and not only has anyone gotten ripped on it, but I don't recall anyone staying on it for an appreciable amount of time. For something that you claim to be so easy this is quite perplexing to me.

I don't care how tough Mentally Govt Christie might be, but having his ass put on the national spotlight about his weight is personal and I think he will do something about it and before the next Presidential Election, he will be at an acceptable weight......the guy love to eat...lol, but he has too many thing at risk here and it will be in his benefit to get his ASS TRIMMED soon
