Is oat powder a big seller in Cuba?

Why?

You do realize you can just put oats in a food processor or blender and it becomes powder.  Add cinnamon if you are a daredevil, nutmeg if you are refined, or cyanide for best results.

So it's not for baking, and it must be powder. Then why oats? Yes, this really is mind boggling.

And 11 kg of it!

It will make any shake thick and set up like wet cement. You might as well make cookies or something more suitable with it, seeing that you just ordered 11kg of it.

step one - buy rolled oats at Trader joes

step two - dump rolled oats into food processor or blender

step three - pulse oats in food processor or blender until you have a nice fine powder

done.

save some money.

btw... it'll make for some not-so-pleasant shakes.

I can put 4 scoops of whey in about 8oz water and drink it down just fine with a shaker cup, but just 1 scoop of oat powder and 1 scoop of whey in 8oz is like silly putty.

I`d like to see his face, when he opens the package up, makes a shake and then tries to drink it.   :D

Don't buy it bro. Turning it into fine powder makes it high GI. You'll get super fat if you drink it ANY other time other than post workout.

True brostory, bro.

All jokes aside, I don't think I could find 24lbs of oats for $30, powdered or not, so maybe not as dumb as it sounds.

Costco has quaker oats cheap. I think I bought 20lbs there once for just over $1/lb. lasted me a year.. had that shit stacked up in my garage. lol.

I prefer my oats with milk, sugar, and cinnamon though... eaten with a spoon. takes 5mins to prepare, cook, mix, and eat.

Yeah I'd believe that..... oatmeal with whey, cinnamon and a handful of trail mix is my favorite way of eating it.  Damn you're making me hungry  ;D
