Sounds like another brainless plan by our retard Admin

https://thepostmillennial.com/biden-increases-irs-agents-to-almost-170-000-70-000-will-be-armed-to-target-middle-class-americans

They'll be chasing after hard working Americans and not the assholes in Congress who made shady deals to get money out of the Ukraine shenanigans.

Shaniqua's 8 kids need new shoes. Remember, we're all in this together.

As if small business wasn't disincentivised enough. A lot of people are already wondering if running one is worth their while. Bump the tax burden and they'll just close up shop.

Fleece. Musn't skin the sheep.

The IRS has truthfully been understaffed for many years.

If you been on a few wild IRS audits you might understand why they might need guns.

Remember Al Capone was finally caught for tax evasion.  You'd need a Thompson submachine gun.

Illegal drug profits are taxable.  Would you want to visit the local drug dealer to audit him unarmed?

Not all IRS agents are in the field.  A lot of the work is remotely via phone and mail.

Many IRS agents never leave the office.

Unless you are intentionally cheating on your taxes there is no reason to fear the IRS.

If you make an honest mistake they will rectify it without a problem.  Obviously you will have to pay what you owe.

Small businesses operating as sole proprietors usually forget they have to pay self-employment tax and don't put it aside which results in quite a shock when they owe thousands and don't have it.

What are they armed with? A #2 pencil, pocket protector, a shortsleeved button down (with tie) and a Casio calculator watch?

Don't spoil the sensationalism which is the catalyst for the ultra-conservative's views. My goodness these people who underreport their incomes when filing taxes may be forced to pay what they owe like the rest of us do.

The Post Millennial is a little off the deep end with the conspiracy stuff. But if there is even a shred of reality to this story, it is clear the democrats really want to start that civil war.

What is so asinine about all of this is that civil war is likely to be bigger version of the Balkans in the early 90's. Once people start using decapitated heads as soccer balls, it is very difficult to stop.

Lol @ our opinions on the matter, as if we have any say.

You'll do as you're told or you'll be destroyed. They change the rules. Make up new ones. Take what you worked for and give it to rich people at investments banks or pharmaceutical companies or Lockheed Martin. Republican. Democrat. It's nothing but a pantomime. Anything they say, you have to obey. You have no say. You're not governed. You're owned. You're owned by rich psychopaths who don't give a fuck about you or your country. They regard you as livestock. That should piss you off.

Who are these rich psychopaths? Are they big business in general or just the corporate heads? It hard to see how it could be politicians because they all are elected to office. If you don’t agree with the bills and laws they pass, vote them out. I would be inclined to go with the big business owners and corporate heads because they are the folks you have the wealth which grants them the power to do pretty much as they please.

Who sold us a 20 year war (which you weren't allowed to question) based on bullshit? Who intentionally crashed the economy in 08 and 'lobbied' for taxpayer bailouts? Who sets up think tanks which push for an expansionist NATO policy? The guy from Martin wouldn't do that, would he? Check out the Martyrmade podcast on Ukraine. To say nothing of recent pharmaceutical policies.

Governments are clearly captured by business interests. That's whose interests get represented. Not yours. Regulatory agencies have become agencies of legitimization. It's a scam.

And every time with the propaganda. There's an emergency. Its the terrorists. A financial crisis. A virus. Vladimir fucking Putin. There's a solution, and anyone who questions it at all is morally reprehensible in some way. Meanwhile, the money keeps flowing to the people who set the policies.

Dismiss it as foil hat shit if it's easier but it's clear as day.

Sociopaths is more accurate.

Power corrupts.

Local school boards classifying parents as terrorists, silencing dissent, etc.

Media destroying dissenting people's reputations.

The Hunter laptop shop guy had his business destroyed.

Dismiss it as foil hat shit if it's easier but it's clear as day.

The Iraq 20-year war started in 2003. "Weapons of mass destruction" announced George W. Bush. These men were U.S. presidents during the 20-year Vietnam war, Dwight Eisenhower (R), John F. Kennedy (D), Lyndon Johnson (D), Richard Nixon (R), and Gerald Ford (R).

The stage was set for the 2008 economic crash long before it happened. The players were numerous. Robert Rubin, Larry Summers, and Alan Greenspan were largely responsible for deregulation along with numerous financial CEO and CDOs. Phil Gramm pushed through the Glass-Steagall Act and Bill Clinton signed Gramm's bill into law. Alan Greenspan in a key player in keeping interest rates at rock bottom which fed into the 2008 crash.

Looks like we agree. You posted "Governments are clearly captured by business interests." Money begets power, 'power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely'. Great men and women are almost always bad men and women.

As you probably know, I am not a proponent of 'foil hats' even though my head has no natural protection, me being bald and all. I'll stick with straw or felt hats, thank you.

Agreed. The U.S. places 17th in terms of income taxes. Also, there are fewer socialized benefits than in many other countries. The U.S. ranks 10th in socialized spending.

If they gave it to schools. If they funded infrastructure. I'd make Libertarian arguments against it, but at least I could see the case for it.

Instead it goes to Goldman Sachs and Lockheed Martin. Warmongers and criminals who ought to be in prison. They do more than just influence policy. They direct the policy and we have jack shit all to say about it. Megacorporations are the actual government. They'll send you and your children to die overseas so they can make money. They pillage your country.

Pay your taxes. What the fuck else you gonna do. But understand we're ruled by evil opportunistic assholes. It's not just that they don't care if you're in strife or die. They intentionally create misery and conflict from which they profit with your money that you worked for, and if you don't give it to them you'll be the one in prison. That's what's up.

We also don’t have universal health care.
