Are you kidding me ? seriously are you kidding me? you want an answer? there is absolutely NOTHING and I mean NOTHING aesthetic about a gut that sticks out , he walked on stage with arms overhead and his gut is distended , you think posing slow to Brian McKnight makes him aesthetic ? he does twisting shots and all you can see is his distended gut , ontop of that he can't even pose , his transitions are awkward , he has no fluidity in his movements , lol notice Ron doesn't do this type of posing anymore , its not suited for his phsyique , watch Lee Labrada , or Bob Paris pose for refference on aesthetics & posing perfection
On a side note Ronnie was very impressive , he was fuller than 1998 but at a cost to sharpness , he was NOT as dry as 1998 but a deserving winner none the less , he should have came out and posed to different music and stuck to his power shots , and I've said this before I'll say it again , Ronnie is NOT an aesthetic bodybuilder , he is a collection of freaky parts with good shape and at times great conditioning , but aesthetic he is NOT !!

Dorian was 257lbs in 1993 with much better conditioning , you're getting excited for not !! how about when Ron did the ab-thigh and is midsection was smooth as a babies ass , he tilted is torso side to side to show off ripped intercostles & Obliques he doesn't have ontop of medicore abs , his gut was distended and his lower back & lower lats lacked the dryness it did in 98 , overall a great performance and a deserving winner but still not good enough .

No. That's a not asthetic physique.. He should not do classical posing routine, it just doesn't suit the physique he's presenting.. Not pleasant looking at all, too blocky and huge.
Poor side tricep shot and very bad side chest shot.

while there are some more aesthetic than ronnie, no bber ever could step on stage and beat a '99 ronnie. you could transport the 99 ronnie to any stage at any point in history and he would beat everyone.
on a side note i never understood why so many black bbers pose to that kind of music...bbing is a hardcore thing; either pose to hard, powerful music, or do classical if your going for that...RnB just doesnt fit at all.

95% of current selections detract from the presentation. In the old daze the music was better, without cheese. Women's BB music may have contributed.

They center on Ronnie doing the pose and he is striated from head to toe. It is awesome. But you have to see the clip. Hopefully it will turn up somewhere.

Basically I posted this because I wanted to give ND the benefit of the doubt, that MAYBE he was a reasonable person. After all there are some great shots of Dorian. BUT for him to watch that video of Ronnie, and not be impressed I now know for sure that he is out of it.

Add this to your list of really stupid claims , Ronnie's side-chest sucks , his front & side delts are so overdeveloped it makes his chest appear small , he doesn't even do the pose correctly , not cool when your delts appear bigger than your chest , anyway look at MMM and even Flex beating Ronnie in this shot .
