Lindsey Clancy trial
Coach is Back!:
So just for a bit of clarity. The defense is arguing that Lindsey Clancy killed her three children because of postpartum psychosis, and "command" hallucinations but when an active shooter goes in a sh**ts up a school....it's the guns.
joswift:
One man wouldnt change his mind and go not guilty, 9 women on the jury
Judge summing up said "Winston Churchill stood his ground againt the whole of Nazi Germany, I would like to thank the jury for their efforts during the trial"
Hahahaha perfect.
whoops , great minds coach...
chaos:
If they end up finding her not guilty, every woman diagnosed with postpartum should have her kids taken away for their safety until she is diagnosed free and clear.
joswift:
Women are saying men dont know what it feels like to be a woamn with post partum depression
Yet the same women are agreeing that a man can be woman if he feels like one???????
Van_Bilderass:
I haven't followed this but psychosis and post partum depression are 'real' things. There is a need for many to still punish people who were legitimately psycho, which I can totally understand. There is a need to be able to say someone is 'evil' because there's a need to be able to blame something like that instead of just some really bad things happening for 'banal' reasons. I watch a lot of true crime shows where someone went psycho and were perhaps given lesser sentences or sentenced to mental hospital. Lots of people seem to sooner reach for demon possession and 'evil' rather than chemical explanations. Mental hospital might actually be a worse place than regular prison as well, the confinement period isn't defined either.
Relatives do often say the psycho who did bad things wasn't really him, like parents of the psycho whom he tried to kill. If I'm not mistaken the father in this case still supports the woman, it wasn't really her.
Example. Father still had contact with him after. Dude had gone off his schizophrenia meds. Demon possession instead perhaps.
