2025 ROYAL RUMBLE....JEY USO??? WHO SAW THAT COMING????

I sure didn't. I would have bet the farm WWE was going to hand this to CM Punk, the way that the company has been on his jock.

Maybe, they were going to go with Reigns. I even thought Cena would be a dark horse.

But......JEY USO!???

My guess is that they're trying to craft some super main event with either Punk, Reigns, or Cena vs. Rhodes for the Universal Championship (I know it ain't called the Universal title anymore, since Reigns lost it, but still.....).

Therefore, to get Jey out of the way, he'll just take on Gunther for the world title.

Cena is in the Elimination Chamber; it's safe to say Rollins, Punk, and Reigns will be there, along with two fillers.

For those who care, Charlotte Flair returned and won the women's Rumble. Rematch with her and Rhea Ripley is predictably likely.

Cena had already committed to the Elimination Chamber prior to the Royal Rumble.  Having him win it here would (from a realistic - but hey, this is rasslin' - standpoint) have resulted in him wisely skipping the Elimination  Chamber. 

I do think he is going to get one more world title notch on his belt at some point though.
