No I don't always agree with the judging however I'm not always right , just because I feel someone should have won doesn't mean they should , perfect example in 1993 I could not believe Dorian beat Flex Wheeler , for the life of me I didn't get it ....until I learned how contests are judged then I fully understood how far away Flex and everyone else was in 1993 , I fully expected Flex to beat Dorian at some point
I don't think contests are fixed and if they are you're bitching about contests that Nasser lost but what about those he won? you can't have it both ways if contests are fixed Nasser was the recipient of these gifts , that makes you a hypocrite if you say otherwise

Self-confidence has nothing to do with ignorance , Dorian beat Flex in 1993 because he was a fuck of a lot bigger and better conditioned , I still maintain Flex 1993 Ironamn/ASC would beat Dorian even at his best but based on the judging criteria I think it would be extremely hard for him to do it

Hulkster, I have one question for you? .... Were you there in Long Beach in 97? Because I was. AND I was there in 93 & 95 in Atlanta & 96 in Chicago. It's been said a million times. Yates has a Thickness & density from every angle that had to be seen in person, and that NOBODY else had.
I think Milos is awesome. I would LOVE to have his body, but Yates smoked everybody in the totality of ALL poses. From the side & from the back, yates crushed everybody.
Unless you were there, you cannot really say accurately. BTW, Demilia gave me tickets right behind the judges every year.
Not flaming, but Yates reigned supreme.. YES. HIS GUT was sticking out in 97 & Nasser looked as good, or maybe a hair better from the front in 97, but when they turned to the side & rear, DORIAN ruled again.

i watched "ALL" lee Haney's 8 victories and belive me he was much more dominant among his competitors than dorian.. even in 1991 dorian's back looked small next to lee haney's!!.. in my own opinion dorian was dominant only in 1993 and 1995..

It's like comparing Dorian '91 to Ronnie '98 or '03, i.e. pointless and not fair. In the top comparison Ronnie looks about 30lb bigger the Dorian, which he is. Plus he is 2" taller in real life.

I remember Nasser in the early 90's. He was very narrow from the side. No thickness. His short legs were massive, and the abs were always there. The best abs of any big man. Even at his biggest in the off season he always looked nerdy with the cross eyes, and glasses. Always trained heavy back then. The whole mentality back then was catching Yates. Guys like Levrone and Ray would come in bigger and smooth or smaller and ripped. Nasser could come in big and ripped which made him comparable to Yates.
Nasser should thank Yates. His physique compared very well with Yates'. They both had the blocky mass monster type look. Since Yates was the current multi year Olympia it only helped Nasser. Nasser's structure was poorer (short legs, long ab area making his abs look good but his back harder to fill out) but he made the most of it. In the end after Yates left, Nasser's career just imploded. His massive synthol use caught up to him, and the insulin era of huge bodies left Nasser with really nothing but double digit placings.
I wonder what happened to him at then end? Did his body just stop responding that badly? Injuries?

So what if Dorian's most muscular was weak. Only thing going for Ronnie from the front was his arms. Everything else was mediocre. Weird abs, poor separation in the legs, chest (droopy with gyno) disappeared in front douple bicep, v-taper wasn't as good as it could have been. So yeah Dorian was much better overall.
