Why exactly are they so worried about this person’s safety? Sounds like projection to me. They are obviously using this whistleblower law to keep the proceedings in the dark.

Apparently someone thinks the whistleblower's safety is at stake. I believe the whistleblower has the ability to determine whether they want to go public or not. No one is above the law.

And for the record, the two Ukrainian businessmen were charged (by the SDNY) for campaign donation violations, hardly something that has to do with the July 25th phone call.

Lawyers ruin the country. The thing is if you are going to hide behind a process in congress to get your way politically it had better have precedence or you leave yourself wide open for ridicule.

This is exactly where Schiff has them now. No facts and no real people to testify in public. They could have impeached a Kasich or Jeb with Karl Rove advising.....but not Trump.
