Those little dynamo gymnasts arent on drugs.  Kids recover well from injuries.  It's as they get older when drugs come into play to maintain past performance levels.

who is world class at 12-13 years old? (female gymnasts? )

DDR used to dope kids who were as young as 12-13. the chinese still do it today. (some coaches, not everyone....and mostly female gymnasts)

but its not common to dope athletes at that early age.  17-19 is more usual.
