I just remember Tony Kaye being royally pissed that he fucked his movie up and wasn't what he intended it to be.  It would have been great either way without Norton editing it, the script was phenomenal.

I dont care for half of them either but its a stretch to find it amazing that people consider AHX one of the best films ever made.

I heard the same thing--that he basically demanded editing rights for The Incredible Hulk or he's out of the film.

Interesting list. Good to see The Shawshank Redemption getting that much love. Incredible movie. Didn't think most people held it in the same class as the Godfather and some of those other movies. Cool stuff.

That's actually a pretty good list. Some movies look like they're up there just because they were recent and some others are lower for being older but that's more towards the middle and bottom. The top is pretty good, in my opinion. I can't decide between Shawshank and the Godfather myself.

Yeah the newer movies tend to fall in votes quickly and drop out witihin the year, some movies have fans who just spam high scores but they get found out quick.Im glad Shawshank now gets the credit it deserves, it bombed at the box office and was robbed at the oscars, word of mouth made it as popular as it is today.

Word of mouth is actually what got me to watch it. Didn't know much about it until one of my buddies told me to watch it. Since then I'm compelled to watch it every time I see it on HBO or whatever channel I stumble across it upon.

A good actor in a bad role can't salvage a film. Ang lee is considered a good director and yet he screwed up the first Hulk movie. 

From what I've seen so far I'm not that impressed. A CGI battle with the abomination isn't all that impressive.

I'm a comicbook fan but I think we need at least an year break from superhero movies. Let 'em work up a proper script rather than rush lackluster movies to meet deadlines. Oversaturation is not a good thing.
