I always try to give a couple of bucks to homeless guy. In NY city I began to notice many sitting on a piece of cardboard in the street appeared to be relatively clean, decent hair with no possessions. What's going on in NYC is that begging for money is becoming a fraud for scum bags. A real homeless person is dirty, hair a mess, clothes a mess and possessions look like a hell collection. The fraud guys have no possessions and are clean. I know there are exceptions. The scammers realize that on the right NYC street a guy can collect over $1000 a week cash.
